Oooooohhhh boy. Im gonna fail my German exam.

The inspirations for this pocket are clearly Fattie's Unconventional Pocket and Max McCool's Turtle shell pocket.

What do you think?

It's an interesting job....not a very pretty custom, but that's just the design of them together. Not sure if it was worth failing your finals.

Nice pocket. You did the hemp braiding like I did for my double hemp pocket(see my webshots) I like the pocket.

its actually not a bad pocket. sure its not a looker, but man, it releases like butter.

....thats probably because this pocket was broken in with the tears of angels and ponies and rainbows and liquid happiness.

i'm sorry i really am going to have to laught at that. i know a person who can never let any one else ever win any thing, she will go to any length to prove you wrong...that sounded like somthing she'd say.

back on topic. i like teh looks of it..it lookes like it would have extremly good hold though i'm not as sure of my customs.

You don't see many custom jobs on a G-Force, nice job.

Nice Job, why didn't you connect the leathers to the scoop by the way? Looks like good hold, but failing your finals wasn't such a hot move. Hope you don't fail them.

why didnt i connect the leathers to the scoop? a secret of the trade my friend!

seriously, this is why: a couple of my buddies on my team have a stringing company and i picked this up from them. by using a top string to connect the leathers to the scoop you can remove the entire pocket and put it into another head. I am going to sell this Gforce probably this week, so it doesnt matter that i strung this pocket in it. When i sell it i can just remove the sidewalls and topstring and voila! the pocket is out in one piece. imo, this is pure genius, and i do it on all my sticks. it is especially handy if you want to replace the pocket of your game stick, but you dont want to sacrifice performance because your pocket is brand new. with this you can break in the pocket, and when its ready, throw it in your game stick.

looks kinda funny. . not very pretty at all. BUt i definetely think the release would be sweet. I guess this is one of those "dont judge a pocket but its (looks?)"

i wanted to put in more diamonds too, but it was really a matter of how much crosslace i had at my disposal. the ball doesnt move around that much at all though.

Oddly enough, i aced my German final. I think i was worrying a little too much. I mean, i was an exchange student in germany for a month this past summer, so i guess my worrying was unnecessary.

Wait, you think that topstring is amazing? Tons of people string there sticks with that topstring. Except me, I string my sticks with a topstring that a friend of mine used when he worked at California Lacrosse Co.

interesting, because i have never seen that top string in anybody elses custom traditional pockets except mine, and nnhsfog37's.

whats teh point of stringing the leathers at the scoop like that. Why woudln't you just hook them into the actual head?
