Do you guys have an "experimentation head" like i do? Mine is an old vapor that i pinched, plan to dye, and i try out a bunch of different stringings on just for the heck of it.

If you have one, what is it/what have you done to it?

I use my icon as an "experimentation head". Ive done mesh variations, traditional, and a pita.

My red x2...my only field stick. Ive put it through about 4 nameless customs, a RP, a few pitas, traditional, and I just put a homegrown/RP hybrid in it, ill leave that in for quite a while. I only put mesh in it once :banghead:

i experiment with any of my three backups- pinched x2, bionic, blaze. i use all three just so i dont have to undo the stringing i just did on my x2 because my x2 is my only head, so i can unstring my bionic and mess around with that.

I use an edge-x that I won at some raffle. I use that to practice cause I'd never use it in a game.

Broken edge although it's taped where it was broken on a string hole and i kind of melted it together somewhat and drilled through the tape. It works alright, except I want a more pinched head to work with, I think I will buy something real cheap new and use that because this thing is alread died and strung many times and just doesn't give you the same kind of pocket I can get with something as pinched as what I actually use. Of course I can't pinch it because the sidewall is snapped and everything and it would come undone there probably...note the dying was done before it broke.

I use an old factory-blue STX Sonic. Sometimes I mess around on my Proton. Actually, the Proton seems to get all the good pockets. My Sonic keeps getting terrible experiments (my leatherless corner pocket/RP comes to mind).

I use one of my 7 matrix's. Might as well experiment with the stick/head you are going to use in the game cuz if you like it perfect its your normal stick.

i personaly dont car efor the matrix becaue they eat up the side wall like mad but if you want one got for the E3 baceause in my opinion its the matrix without som of the flaws like the bent in sidewall

You should just get an icon then. They're really cheap and have just as many string holes. It just isn't as offset or pinched.

I use an old Intrepid. They have so many stringing holes in the sidewall. I also screw around with my evo pro when im bored.

I used to use a proton. But then I really didn't like how the Stringings looked on it. So I just strung a double sidewall on it a let it be. I gotta choose one of my other heads for that. Might use my razor when I get my cyber....

Hahaha I thought I was the only one who still had an original excalibur. My first stick also. How do customs look in it?

i have a POS Brine Edge somplete. i used it to make my first cornner pocket with and for my first dye job

Customs look kind of funny in a basic, onset head. I pinched it, so it almost looks like a contemporary head...

i defintly have an "experiment head" its just an AV8 that my friend gave me. the dye job is ok, and the stringing is pretty well done, but the pinch ended up tilting the head back so its pretty much useless

I have an old schhol edge aero, i was wondering, have you pinched this head? i was thinking about tightening up the face, putting it on a lgiht shaft, does anyoen have any input on this idea?

i dont have a designated experiment head. i just restring my sticks a lot, partially out of boredom, and partially because i want to try new stuff.
