yeah the chicago logo is lame. los angeles' colors are almost like the nhl's san jose sharks only they have orange too. and they both have a shark in their logo.
i kinda like denver's logo...

they were really creative with new colors... casue all of those teams have similar colors to teams already in existence, liek chicago, red black yellow = rochester? pretty much a disspaointment on the new teams, but at least i can go watch mll games now

The Chicago logo isn't to good, I like the riptide's logo along with denver's. And as said before I dislike the name "the dragrons", hopefully they come out with a better logo than chicago's.

I agree with a lot of guys one here; Denver's is the best. It will be pretty successful with lacrosse players/parents/coaches because of the Mammoth, but the general public might not find the outdoor game so appealing because it lacks the excitement the outdoor game has.

Denver is the only one I like. The Chicago one looks too flamy (not a word) and they chose the wrong colors. LA's is ugly too.

And I just realized this, won't the addition of LA and San Fran make 3 lacrosse teams total in Cali? Those lucky Californians always get tons of teams, its not fair.

The chicago logo is almost as weak as the nickname "Machine" 3/4 of a gear that forms a C. That's just terrible, i mean at least it has something to do with the team but where have good logos gone? I hate new sports teams logos, regardless of sport, they are just kinda bad now.

in case you didnt notice, those arent gears, theyre saw blades. as a graphics student, i think this logo is pretty clever. it reminds me of the cubs logo. the color scheme leaves something to be desired, but seriously, who cares? there is finally lax in chicago!

chicago's color scheme could be red n yellow because of the great chicago fire. at least thats what it reminds me of.

i also think that San Fran's color scheme is gonna be green and red. you have to think of what a chinese dragon looks like. i assume this is why theyre the dragons, because in like the 1900's people from asia would come through san fransico to get to america.

Denver: like it quite a bit. It's got bit to it, but its not cheesy

Chicago: Boring, don't like it much. But boring is better than overkill, in my opinion.

LA: makes me want to eat glass. seriously, every time i see that logo, i take a bit out of my computer monitor. its beginning to become quite a costly habit. but LA Riptide lends itself SOOO well to royal blue and white, and nice edgey letters. instead they have some drab, dull, and for lack of a better word, retarted shark with plain letters. my computer monitor is about as big as a CD by now.

Outlaws: I like Denver's logo, I hope that they make a secondary logo that has something like a capital D for Denver and crossed six-shooters to represent the outlaw/Western theme.

Riptide: I might be alone, but I like LA's logo and the teal/orange color scheme. I think they did a good job making a logo that represents the SoCal coastal themes (surfing and sharks) and I think that they can make a good looking jersey out of that.

Chicago: Chicago's logo is retarded, but than the nickname Machine is retarded, and they made it worse with the red/yellow/silver color scheme. They should have gone with a black/silver or blue/black/silver color scheme.

Denver... I really like the Denver logo the best, it isn't too much, and at the same time, they didn't go cowboyish with the name outlaw, which made me happy.
Chicago...I like the name machine, but i can't help but seeing a resemblance to the chicago cubs with the logo.
LA Riptide...must not have been too good if I couldn't remember what team it was, but after going back and looking, i like the colors.

but seriously, I like Dever's and Chicago's. Not some much the LA one, but it will do for now. I would have pushed for more of a tidal wave or eye of a hurricane to better represent the name "riptide" but I'm just a mere fan. Blargh.

I like the san fran logo. Has a classic euro soccer club feel to it, so I can only hope that the uniform designs don't look as horrible as the rest of the league.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread but I just got Inside Lacrosse and they had the OFFICIAL grading scal for the new logos.

Denver Outlaws: A; Best look of all. The designers created bot text and logo that can stand on their own. The agressive look will resonate well with youth, while traditional color scheme keeps it simple. Minor con, but Denver could be written bigger.

San Francisco Dragons: A-; Different look will provide for a unique, almost soccer-like logo. Mixed feeling on the Anglo-Saxon imagery and purple, silver and black color scheme. The designers deviated from what could be considered a formulaic approach to MLL logos. Hopefully it pays off.

Chicago Machine: C; Hopefully there is a second logo. If I am a newcomer to the sport, and I assume there are a lot of them, I don't know what Chicago team is. The Chicago Cogs? The Chicago Gear Heads? The buzzsaw/gear combo seems to blend into one object. Needs Work bu isn't far off.

Los Angelos Riptide: D; Already feels dated, like something from the mid-90's. Cannibalizing your logo never sends a strong marketing message. And please people, I beg you, stop using teal. It's one step from neon green. No man wants to wear anything teal.

Denver is undoubtedly the best....the SF Dragons reminds me of some 16th century symbol...chicago is just pathetic and the Riptide reminds me of the San Jose Sharks. You think they ever heard of originality?

Denvers is definately the best. The worst is the riptides by far. I actually like the machines logo and name.

So I have just recently checked the San Francisco Dragons Website, and I think that the logo on the upper Left-Hand side of the screen is going to be the one used on their helmets. Just a guess, but I really hope so, it looks good.

Yea like a bunch of other people said, I don't like any of them. But if I had to choose, it would be the LA riptide--even though sharks and riptides don't have all that much in common, besides the fact that they both deal with water. Wow, those are all pretty lame.
