My coach last year was the biggest douchebag in the world, besides not even caring what the players on the team thought he did nothing to fix players mistakes but scream and make them run. We had a coach he stepped down adn let this guy coach who is a dad of a kid on my team who started 4 years at maryland. I listen to him casue he knows alot about lacrosse and hes a great guy adn it pissed my coach off a lot. He took me out of a game in a tournament for listening to the dad instead of him and i couldnt take it anymore i told him to (no cursing) off and that he was (another word for gay). I believe he is coaching again this year but i have no respect for him.

my coach would like to think she is good. but she lacks the ability to motivate the team. by the end of the season people hated the sport because the way she treated us. she's inconsistant. we did line drills for hours and hardly schrimaged, which probabaly led to our overall record.

I had two coaches for freshman last year. One was a really old guy who kind of knew the game. Personally I didn't like him. I didnt really know him too much because he worked with the D and goalies. The other coach was a kid 2 years out of college(montclair). He originally went to Pace but because he didnt start he went to Montclair(tool!!!) He was our offense coach and was the worst with offensive thinking. I could have done 20x better than him. I am and have been an attackmen my whole life. I started out the year with in around 3 or 4 games getting around 6 goals. He then thinks I would be a better middie and sticks me there. I hatttttttte it at middie. I only end up getting 11 goals for the whole season(we had around 12 games). I could have done so much better at attack. We also have two other good attackmen and we would have had a really good attack line. We suffered because we ruined that attack line and forced all the other middies to lower lines, that actually were better middies than me.

I personally really like the coach I have right now. My spring coach is great, she loves her job and is quite the enthusiast, which I feel is very important in a coach. She seems to know the game decently but not entirely, but she gets help from a local college player or two to help out. I'd have to say she qualifies for "Knows the game/LIKE my coach" And the coach I had 2 years ago was so sweet. Still keep in contact with him, such a great guy and really knew the game well.

The Head coach was my coach last year, and he was a horrible coach. The Assistant coach I have never met.

New coach this year, so I put no opinion. But last year we had a good coach. knew the game, did what he could with our team.

Our coach seems pretty cool, havn't spent a ton of time with him but he knows the game but also isn't obsessed over authority and making everyone his (cussword). Pretty much he just fixes indy problems but is also acctually into getting better at lacrosse as opposed to just creating a bunch of track stars by runnin em a ton. Pretty much his logic is, if you go 100% during practice, you don't need to go condition and run 5 miles after because you should be tired enough and getting better at what you want to ... lacrosse, not running a mile.

I voted one for each of my coaches last year.

Bunton: Knows the game/like my coach. Awesome guy. Old as heck, but he brought lacrosse to Michigan, so it was a privledge being coached by him.

Walega: Inconsistent. Multiple times during practice, he'd be making an announcement (i.e "Look, this is how to scoop with two hands"), he'd stop and say, "Lost my train of thought." Though, he is only around 24. Other than that, good coach. Knows the game also.

We got a new coach, she's really cool, but doesn't know too much about lax, sometimes I think we're better off coaching ourselves... hopefully she'll get better.

Id have to say im happy with my coach. A little lax but teaches good methods. I think were getting a new conditioning coach or somthing this year so the athlectic part will be better.

Well my last years coach which now is with ransom was a ok coach at the best. A varsity team would be better of with out him, the only thing he ever worked on was half brained plays that only work vs the most garbage of teams. He wasted the varsity talent that we had last year on play that never worked.

My coach is the best coach i've ever had by far and the best one out of any sport i've played. My coach doesn't yell because he is getting old ( but he has a faster shot than most kids on my team) and yelling isn't his coaching style but he gets his point across and it's always clear. He is very approachable and easy to communicate with. He knows his stuff too.

I love my coach ... she's an incredibly player, extremely funny, very honest. She's probably one of my favorite people, like ilaxitup007 does for her coach, I really admire her, she's just an amazing coach.

I like our coach, hes an alumni and he helped get our program started but he coddles our goalie too much. He doesnt know enough about offense and he takes it out on the defense when his precious goalie cant save the ball.

Hey i feel your pain, i didnt like my coach too much, our d couldnt slide and our offense stood around too much. He was inconsistant with positions (I played everything but goalie last year), and didnt allow for our team to get a good team chemistry. And just like u we one 2 games
