it was played in edmonotn, but all portland fans have to remember that the rush sat lots of there best guys to see the up in coming rookies play against there first nll team, and i have to say that 9-8 is not very bad in that case

how can u be soo sure? if edmonton was indeed sitiing their vertrans and flooring a mostly rookie squad then i would say edmonton has a better chance of making the playoffs then portland.

I keep hearing how great the two expansion teams are. Forgive me, but I'm in a "believe it when I see it" mode with them both. Portland does have some nice goalies, while Edmonton has better skill position players. Who knows, maybe they'll have a good battle to the finish, for the last spot in the West...

i think at least one of them should do pretty well this season. all expansion teams go through growing pains, and they do have to compete with some pretty good teams, but both teams also have a lot of talent this year. what was the attendence like at the scrimmage?

if you know derek keenan, you know he will push his team as hard as possible, i have seen many of his practices and he is a great coach and a tough on to, portland is going to make the playoffs, edmonton will struggle, but might finish at 500, i can see the jax, going 750, i believe they are that good
