Does anyone know how to remove that pop up when aim starts and disable all sounds. Its very annoying to here the beeping noise it makes when u get an im and you are listening to music really loud.\
EDIT: Now I just have a beep when I send a message. Still need help with the ads.

my aim... edit options... edit preferences... you can change both of those things in there

Use Gaim which is less memory intensive and had multiple IM clients in one program?

And click "Do Not Play Any Sounds". Should take care of everything.

tried that and i still have a beeping noise when I send out a message.
