I just really wanted to know what types of people are playing lacrosse. So, I decided to find out what groups you are in your school. In other words, what do the other kids stereotype you as. I made it a multiple voting poll so you can show every group you hang out with.

Wow, after all that, I forgot prep. Which I slightly am. Whatever, I'm voting nerd and jock. Nerd, cause I care a ton about my grades, and they are generally pretty high. Jock, well, I play football and lacrosse, used to play soccer and basketball last year. Yeah, I pretty much can't get too much of sports.

Of course, being tall, built, and redheaded, with thick mutton chops and a goatee with Irish heritage, the booze and brawling stereotypes come into play. People walk up to me and say, unprovoked, "Man, you look like a real rough 'em up mick; I bet you can booze all night."

Yeah Prep/Rich Kid pretty much go hand in hand. I personally think that Either Prep or Jock are the only sterotypes on our Lax team. There are some new Freshman that think they're skaters, but they're just confused adolecents. They are definately in the want-to-be jock category.

I only put rich kid/snob. Because, well, I am. I go to the most snobbish school in the area, everyone who I know makes fun of me and my friends for going there. But next year I'll be at a more jockish school, so I'm hoping to put my preppy background behind me.

all of my friends (And me) are nerds that play at least one full contact sport. we're all on the academic team and often have totally ridiculous philosophical decisions. however, those arguments often end in fistfights. we're sort of like the athletic, belligerent, nerds that everyone loves.

Im probably a jock/nerd. I play lacrosse and run cross country (without quitting mid season or complaining about ("shin splints"), but on the other hand, i get real good grades. I personlally don't view myself as a nerd because i know i don't try THAT hard in school, but others may judge me that way. Im kind of a middle-class person.

i am slightly a prep but i dont try to be one. I dont fit into any of the catorgories there i just am nothing in terms of how i am classified

Eh, I put punk/emo even though the emo part is totally wrong. I'm one of the only kids in my school who listen to real punk and not mcr. I also put "goth" because, even though I'm NOT by any means, people think of me as that. The most black I wear is a t-shirt maybe, and its an iron maiden t-shirt so thats not "goth". Other than that its lacrosse tees and skater clothes. I hate that stereotype anyway. And I put skater because I still wear skate shoes/clothes and skate every now and than, but I'm on the verge of quitting. Lastly, I put Loser because I don't by all of my clothes from AE so I'm not "accepted."

High School sucks.

I'm like a weird mix. One day I will wear a rocktee then the next day i will wear an american eagle polo. One day a studded belt next a plain brown one.. im weird like that. I don't try to follow anything I just wear what i feel like..

I dunno, lacrosse is not a prep-school sport here and I live in a big, diverse city. I guess lacrosse in this area is still dominated by white hockey player types, but it's getting more and more multicultural.

As far as music/fashion/lifestyle identities - lacrosse attracts athletes, and athletes can be any type.

i dont have one specific stereotype. i guess i would slightly fall under emo, rich kid without the snob part, jock because some scene kid called me that one time, sometimes a loser but not always. unfortunately i cant say P.I.M.P. but if you were to ask people at my school i'm that guy that plays lacrosse all the time, because me and my friends play after school everyday and always have our sticks with us

I have been called (and amextremely proud of this) extremely difficult to stereotype. I dress like a post-hardcorish feller (emo minus the skin tight pants), but i am obsessed with sports and am extremely dry (as in sense of humor wise. not as in i'm wrinkly or i refuse to sell liquor). i have the grooming habits of a loser/druggie, but i do not drink/drug it up often at all.

so the best i could go with is emo, but its very far off.

Meat head, although I'm smart so that doesn't quite work. I'm not really a jock, I only play lacrosse, but I lift year round. I don't do drugs, I like nice things, and am a fairly nice guy. Possibly Prep/Meat head? Yea that fits. So I'm differnt.
