Ok, how can i possibly get in the christmas spirit, when its 60 degrees out side, sunny and a mild breeze.

Its just way to nice out side. It feels like this in august here! Honeslty, i just feel like its any other day. So weird!

Fifty or higher degrees near DC. Rain tomorrow, then mid-fifties for the rest of the week. Bad for snow, OK for car washing. All is calm, but I'm not at the shopping mall.

ITs been in the high 30s lately and melted off a lot of the snow, but we still got about a good 2 inches covering everthing, with some grass showing in some places... Itll be a white christmas at least

... you live in a warm state.... nice, warm, sunny, fun North Carolina.

Actually, the ski areas in North Carolina tend to open before those in Pennsylvania.

It's not a matter of latitude; it's a matter of altitude. Pennsylvania's highest point is Mt. Davis, 3213 feet high, while North Carolina's highest point is Mt. Mitchell, over twice as high, at 6684 feet high. North Carolina's ski areas are clustered near Mt. Mitchell.

74 degrees
sunny

Christmas weather? I think not.
I've had to put up with 80 degree Christmases for 2 years now and I hate it.

It isn't Christmas unless there is snow on the ground.

\It's not christmas if it's not a white christmas.

That reminds me of a pickup line I heard on TV last night: "If you jingle my bells a little, I can promise you a very white christmas"

Also, it's nearly 80 here. I'm not sure if I should put on my red-and-white striped knee socks (though I think they're in the bottom of my bag, since I wanted to wear them at my game a few weeks ago, and it was too hot then too) or go out back and tan a bit.

I want to say it feels like Christmas in July, but it's still 40 degrees cooler than it would actually be in the summer.

Argh. It's Utah. Two years ago I had like 2 feet of snow. Now? 50 degrees and sunny. My mom's like, It's not Vermont, the winters are warm and have less snow, but I'm like, no, Christmas in Utah is NOT 50 degrees. That's stupid. We had snow on Sunday. Melted by Wednesday. That was 4-6 inches of brand new snow.

Shut your mouth, Johnny Scene.

As an aside, they'd only be deadly weapons if I actually wore underwear.

All of you are lucky her in VT we don't use farenheight to gauge the temp. Instead we use 3 words Eh, Cold, and OH MY GOD I HAVE FROST BITE! In the big ol' city of Burlington we have almost a foot.

I agree Dan. In Denver the week before Christmas it's been like 60 degrees. The last bit of snow we actually had melted away just days before Christmas. The end of fall was pretty cold (like 10 degrees) then as winter begins it's suppose to be like 60 degrees. Sometimes I hate Colorado weather.

Oh jeeze. Don't tell my sister that. She's been begging my mum to take her snowboarding in Colorado (snow up in Flagstaff, AZ just isn't cutting it this year) since freaking August. She even conned her way into a boarding jacket for Christmas.

I'm going to resist every urge to start singing that White Stripes song, and say that my neighborhood has perfectly groomed grass for playing catch and/or pickup games on.
You're in Chandler. I'm in Chandler. How 'bout it?

seriously, I'm sick of hearing my brother complain when we play catch.
