Philly in '06

so for christmas today i got 4 tickets to the ncaa championships in philly. i guess i got pretty good seats as well as good accomodations.

has anyone else got tickets? where are your seats and how much did they cost?

Is it always in Philly? Im pretty new to ncaa lax and I know it was in Philly last year. But dont get me wrong Philly is a great place! lol

i went to Philly last yr... man it was awesome... great place too have have it.... it was a blast last year although i heard baltimore was better in 04' Philly was great...

I went last year and it was awesome. I don't think I can go this year b/c I'm spending the whole summer in Victoria, Canada playing box.

It was awesome last year and I also loved it when it was in MD! I wish STX would get off their duffs and come tailgate with us in Philly this year. I missed them in 2005 (as they did not travel up to Philly to party)! They throw a kickin tailgate party! :clap:

Got my seats already. Section 134. Not the best, but good enough for now, until I can hit up my buddy at Lincoln Financial Corp. Then mine might go on eBay, or on Classifieds.

Nope. Not always. As a matter of fact, last year was the first time. It was in Baltimore the previous two years. I think the NCAA awards two-year bids.

plus you are wrong.
it was held in Philly twice before, 1992 and 1973, both times in Franklin Field on Penn's campus (the best stadium in college sports BTW.)

Well it was their first holding it in the NFL stadium, which is where they had held it in Baltimore the previous years. It would be nice to see them hold it somewhere a little more westward in the coming years. Like OSU or Notre Dame etc. Anyways, I'm working on getting my tickets for this year.
