Here (http://www.probosslacrosse.com/index2.htm)
or probably here.... (http://www.mountainedgelax.com/index.htm)
these guys (http://www.goaliestore.com/stockroom/stockroom.php?stock_cat=33) might have some O'Neils left (but if you are playing minor, forget the O'Neil)
sometimes these guys (http://www.nationalsports.com/index_nonFlash.html) carry NAMI cages if you are in town...

Intemediate is considered minor lacrosse, so yeah. Junior is not considered minor lacrosse, so junior and up O'Neils are legal.

Is there any Canadian website, or any website for that matter, that carries that cage and you can order it online?

Each one of those sites won't do it.

Not getting caught at something doesn't make something "legal." Capiche?

Hooligan - try calling Proboss aka Lax Shack - they are Canadian and I bought my O'Neil there (for a great price too!)

How smart are the refs that do your games?

The way the CLA issued the bulletins on the O'Neills, it does not surprise me that many refs don't even know they're illegal for minor. Add to that, the fact that the STX Sr. mask looks very similar, and the fact that many refs just don't seem to give a rat's arse about the game play let alone the equipment...........I totally believe you could have gotten away with it.

Trust me (I'm a carded referee), O'Neill cages are not legal for minor. If I catch you before the game, I'll tell you you can't wear it. If I catch you on the floor during a game, I'll treat it as unsafe equipment and make you remove it from the game. Better hope you or one of your buddies has a spare screen.

All this is done in the name of safety. Funny thing is, that you're not even perfectly safe in a square-grille hockey screen! I had a 6 or 7 year old suffer a cut right below his eye in one game I reffed (no end cap on stick, metal had edged through the minimal tape job, butt end of stick went through cage during a scrum in the corner.)

Well can I get this cagecage (http://www.probosslacrosse.com/equipmentclose/stx2020maskjunior.htm) or do I have to get this oneother cage (http://www.probosslacrosse.com/equipmentclose/stx2020mask.htm) , because their is quite a difference in money

If you're putting it on a senior size hockey helmet, get the senior size cage.

Truthfully, though, the best thing to do is just wait until you get to Vancouver or Victoria and buy it at a laX specialty store. Why screw around with ordering one when you can't even legally use it for any US league?

Good luck,
