Salisbury vs. D1's best

Here is an interesting topic to debate. Would Sailisbuty beat D1's best teams, or how bout would D1's best beat Salisbury. While this may seem like an absurd argument at first keep this in mind. I've heard from several people who watched this game, that Salsibury went to Duke last year and beat up on duke in a pre-season scrimage with starters vs starters.

I think there might be a thread on this..

most schools are vulnerable in the preseason.. I wouldn't put much stock in a fall ball victory..

(hint.. the colts were 0-5 in preseason play)

'Bury would get rocked by the top D1 schools...
Maybe against mid (#11-15) would be close...I dont know...unless they actually schedule a regular season nonconference game against a D1 opponent...
Preseason means nothing as wheelax said...
Look at some of the fall ball D1 tournaments and you will see what we mean...

I think Salisbury couldn't beat the top D1 schools like Hopkins, Duke, Cuse, but I do think they could beat up on most D1 schools. If they were a D1 team I think they'd be top 10 or real close and it would be intersting to see. They could beat every D2 team.

ya, salisbury's good but like blckout said duke, john hopkins etc... all the D1 powerhouses would still take salisbury, now i am curious to hear more about this game, like ive never heard an actual score...???does anyone know it

Of course they could'nt beat Hopkins(16-0) or Duke(17-3) or any of the top 5 teams but other 1's would be different

I agree. I have seen many top-tier DI teams play and have seen Salisbury play almost every year (as they defeated my college), and although I think Salisbury is a very strong team, I think that on the DI scale they rank at the mediocre level. On the DIII level, well they are fantastic. I still love my Tigers though.
