Judging from the name, Wheeling Jesuit is probably Christian. Talk to WHEELAX2 (WJ alumni) for more info.

DIII: Adrian, MI (United Methodist) Wells College, Auburn, NY (Free Methodist) I believe

i dunno, if he were looking for catholic colleges i think he would have specifically said catholic. us catholics like to differentiate ourselves from protestants, or the other way around, who knows. and the catholic youths i know dont tend to be as into it and interested as some youths from protestant and fundamentalist churches

I can think of then ame of the top of my mind, but I believe theres a Prysbeterian college that started a lax prgogram in VA.
But are you after a specific denomination? Catholic or Protestant, or Evangelical?
BU or Duke are secular schools. Not be religiously intolerant, I dont think you would find a Hillel House or Islamic Center at a real Christian College.
Oh yeah then theres BYU, they are Mormon and they have a reputable men's lax club that "seems" to be on the verge of going D1.

as someone said, check out FCA. other than that, Gordon College, Messiah, and Eastern are all part of the council for christian colleges and universities. They also all play at the D3 level. Many of the colleges that are mentioned above were founded by religious groups, but these ties are in name only. the only religious requirement is that you take a religion class as part of core. look into the schools, and talk to some kids who go there to find out what the religious atmosphere is. as far as christians at d1, there is brian crockett, Jared Little, fair number of others i dont remember.

I coach at a Catholic D2 school in NH...
Basically anything with a "saint" in front of it would qualify. It's just a matter of HOW catholic you are talking. Gordon is VERY catholic as is...well...Catholic University. There are more than a few Catholic/Christian D2 and D3 colleges out there. Check otu the listing on Laxpower.com. They have a list of every program in the US.

check out http://fcalax.com/ - many NCAA teams have team bible studies - called huddles - it lists them here.
http://www.fcalax.com/FormerPlayers.lsp is a list of former players on the high school FCA team and tells where they are going/plan on going to college.
Gordon Purdie is a Christian who played professional http://www.insidelacrosse.com/page.cfm?pagerid=20&id=65979&hidecontent=yes
FCA has a HS team tryouts coming up soon and have college players that play in a couple of summer tournaments

Wittenberg is an Evangelical Lutheran school in ohio about half way between dayton and columbus and is a D3 school. and im gonna take a guess (joking) that Southern Methodist Univeristy (SMU) is methodist.
LeMoyne is a jesuit college as well if you want to keep with catholic school.
http://www.ajcunet.edu/tier.aspx?bid=54. this is a list of all Jesuit colleges.
http://www.holycrosscongregation.org/english/direct.htm#usa. this is a list of all schools associated with the conogrgation of the Holy Cross, which runs Notre Dame.

you aren't aloud to listen to anything other than old classical music or old hymns either. they also arent evangelical.... more along the lines of fundamentalist, which they are reportedly proud of.

yah. anything with saint in it (st. joes, st. johns) NDMU (Notre Dome la mur or something like that) is in california and is DIII i think. they are catholic. any Loyola school (the one in maryland, chicago, or california) is because its names after the man who created the Jesuit society.

Bob Jones University has some pretty weird rules, same with Pensacola Christian College. I know of somebody who used to text message under her bed covers at like one in the morning, so she wouldn't get caught!
