I went to the early show when the nll players were on it and they gave out the RBK hats. There pretty cool.

although iam not a goalie, i think the goalie stuff looks pretty good. but until i try a pair of gloves iam a little skeptical to the quality,durability, feel, etc.

with all the players being outfitted, what about the refs? Do they wear rbk ref shirts, reebok shoes, reebok helmets(for the refs that opt to wear helmets) If reebok has total control over what the NLL wears it would only see fitting that the refs were apart of this.

from what i heard from the Rush equitment guy is that if your like cosmo and signed with boddam then you can use that. or palidwor with stx he can use all that instead of rbk if he wants. you just had to have a deal signed before the begining of the season with an equitment company.

Im impressed with RBK that have done really in the last little while...there now everywear...from the NHL to the NLL jearsys healments gloves stick shoes shorts wow.

I would think that the helmets would be like that also. But it doesn't look like the 8k reebok helmet. maybe they just had them use their old ones and put reebok stickers over them.

yea calgary was using the older jofa helmets yesterday with rbk on them. I noticed ratcliffe was wearing a bauer 5000 tho.

I don't know anyone or any company that would mess up a lacrosse league by being the sole supplier of lax equipment.

Seriously, Reebok is a big name that seems to be interested in making a long term committment to the sport. If Reebok starts promoting lacrosse, you could see more interest in the sport. In my view, its about time someone with some promotional power took advantage of the opportunity of the sport.

i think aslong as you have a contract with a company that has been signed before the start of the season you can use your sponsors equipment. calgary's gloves look sick, iam definately stealing a pair :nut: haha

i just got back from the stealth game and it looked like everyone was wearing all reebok except the goalie cosmo. i didnt know about this at all prior to the game so i was squinting the whole game to see if it actually said rbk on the gloves. oh and the refs were still wearing CCM stuff

Yeah, I was at the stealth game, too, and I got to see the gloves up close and actually hole one of the helmets. I believe they are the rbk 8k's, but I could be wrong, since I don't play hockey. All I know is they look awesome with that sick facemask.

since jofa is owned by RBK, that is why they are using it and putting RBK on it.
In the Rocks first game, they were all using that jofa helmet except for sanderson, manning, veltman, and doyle...they were still using their bauer 8000s. But the people at reebok must've stepped in because those players were wearing the 8k helmet in the buffalo game. Maybe they just didnt find the jofa helmet comfortable enough.
I personally don't think it matter what equipment they use since it is only gloves and helmets. If they are forced to use a certain stick though, thats when things could get ugly. Someone needs to make sure they dont make the same mistake as warrior and the MLL.

well rbk and stx are probably working together...i hope that the guys can use w/e i just think its better for the players and the fans, i like seeing different heads/shafts out there, mll is boring...they are not different...rbk probably knows its a bad idea to do that...

The goalie gear is just maxlax gear with rbk logos. You can by the same gear you just cant get the rbk logos.

I got to take a look at the rbk gloves a few weeks back when i went to watch the knighthawks practice for family members and fans, they look like a weak first attempt and resemble the rbk 8k hockey gloves a whole lot, and for the helmet, all they did was stick a rbk symbol on a jofa 690 bucket. and they didnt even supply the teams with the nicest shoes they have out right now, if you ask me reebok cheaped out :thumbsdow

And they allow players to wear other equipment if they have a deal with that company. And face it it is only helmet gloves and shaft and maybe shoulders etc. but it is not like the have to use some stick or wear some shoes if they dont want to. Atleast the players can still play with theyre own stick and shoes they are comfortable in (I find the most important.) Maybe Warrior could take a lesson or two.

those are the jofa style helmets, i guess rbk bought out jofa too?? the rock now have the 8k helmets, i dont know about any other teams yet.

I think players are allowed to wear other equiptment with permission from the leauge only(ie not arrived in time, custom orders, etc). $250 fine for wearing non-reebok without permission

Goalie gear is jsut MaxLax and the forward stuff you can demo but its hard to find and impossible to purchase
