I'm pretty sure everyone here is aware of the MLL... the question is, if confronted by an MLL team would you tryout?

I cuold easily make it to the MLL. Easy. I mean, they still need water boys, assistant coaches assistants, concession guys, security... :)

I like to think I could make it, but no.
What's up with these poll choices? They don't make sense.
(Yes, but I wouldn't make it.
No, but I'm confident I could make it.)

I didn't get them at first either, but I think it's two questions really:
1. If approached by an MLL team, would you tryout?
2. Do you think you would make it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......... if I tried to try to try out, they'd laugh and say go home kid, and I'd be depressed and miserable for the rest of my relatively short, pointless, meaningless life. Aren't I cynical?

No, no chance. ever.

well think about it. by the time i have graduated from college and am approached by the MLL, there will be so many more new expansion teams that there might be a chance. of course there would also be more people playing lax so it would become more competitive just to tryout. so i dunno. but i think i could.

I live in Oregon and I am almost thirty, they should be knocking on my door any day now. HA HA HA!!!!

I was confused to? Half of them were like yes but no. Or no but yes.
Anyway i think someday i may have a chance of walking on NLL...but i would never make the MLL, especially since there is no tryouts.

i think there is one mll player from san diego in the league right now, that i know of. so my chances arent very good, at all. that and i suck, big time, well kinda big time. but hey look at rudy, everyone told him he couldnt make it, and if you think about it he really didnt, he only got to suit because the whole team threatened to not play so there ya go
rampartmiddie
01-01-2006, 04:43 PM
Rudy, good point. Maybe there is hope after all, and maybe the MLL will fallow suit and start having try-outs like the NLL expansion teams.

It would appear we have some prodigys amongst us, none of which care to post in this thread.
i would definitely make it....if a nuclear bomb blew up the northeast leaving little to no lacrosse talent from NY and that whole area (not that i ever wish for that to happen). other than that, not a snowballs chance in a texas summer i would i make it.

i would definately try out if i had a chance but i doubt i would make it. i wanna play div 1 college lacrosse at cuse but i know how unrealistic it is.

I wouldn't get in I don't think, but hey, at least right now I'm in the players pool. That makes me feel at least somewhat a part of it, right? Cracks me up 16 people voted yes theyd get in. oh well.

Yeah I suck. but I'm still hoping to play through college. I'd also enjoy playing in the MLL but that's pretty unrealistic.

Well first I have to get better Grades to get into a good College Program, then I need to work on my Off-Hand, get a ton Faster, Stronger, know the game of Lacrosse a lot better. And all that in about 7 1/2 years? I just dont know.

no unfortunately they don't have tryouts. The best you can do is get into the players draft, get called for the training camp, and go up from there if you don't get cut. At least if you're on the players draft, they keep your name on file throughout the season.

i'm with nylax90, i seriously doubt i'd ever make it on a MLL team, much less a D1 lacrosse team. but if given the opportunity i'd give it my all and try my best. i'd love to play D1 ball.

I think I'd make it, but I'd probably be backing up the back up goalie, and would only play if we were up by like 30 points.

I don't really understand these poll options.
I'd rather pursue something else. I still want to be invovled, and I'm thinking about coaching at some point.
