my family and i are taking a vacation in a few weeks... As of right now, our plan is to get in the car and drive! if we find a nice place, settle there for a week. I dont like that plan! so i was wondering if any of you on the east coast could give me some vacation ideas? Preferably something on the beach! Thanx in advance for any input!

Like your signature Lax n brew.
The beach here quite frankly is crowded and packed this time of year and does notlend itelf to going anywhere without reservations. I would go to thebeach on Norh Carolina or to the Cape or Mystic in Connecticut. It is a hrad call unless you are camping if you are camping pack it up and head to New England. I love the Adirondack Moutains myself becasue you canhike , dn do some whitewater raftin, fishing and rest and it is peaceful.

yeah... we go camping too much... + im going camping a couple times already this summer (once in a couple weeks w/ my friend, and again in a few more weeks w/ our girlfriends) We're looking for a place w/ cabins maybe.. or just a hotel on or near a nice beach.

I think we are going to stay a little more north than that... but, thanx for the idea... We are looking more twards places in VA or NC. I'd say the highest point we'd go to would be Mass.
