My vents died on me

Well my vent armpads died on me all at once. The rivets things that hold the plastic to the padding 2 of the 3 tore out. And then the velcro tore off the padding.

I guess I'm going back to my mpg 5.0s

Yeah, he showed this to me today. Apparently those only have like 3 little rivets that hold the colored plastic to the actual pad. I just hope they improved them for 2006. So Rob, are you just going to use the MPG's or did you start this thread to get recommendations to what new ap's to get?

thats wierd, ive been playing with mine for 3 yrs and the velcro just ripped. its ok though, cause im getting new ones, these are trashed. sorry about your AP's. how long have you had them?

Get more Vents. I love them so very much. I have two pairs of them, one pair that's been used for a long while and one of the newer 06 pairs. Both are comforting and protective.

Don't doubt, he meant comforting. His vents are always there for him whenever he needs a good cry.

Seriously though, that sucks. I'm with Orange on just getting new Vents, I love mine, and I've never met anybody who's had a bad thing to say about them.

Chill there chief, he never said they weren't made by Warrior. He was simply showing his approval of Warrior Arm Pads. And to actually add to this thread, I absolutely love my Vents. They are so comfortable. Pretty sure my next pair of aps will be Vents again. Or Supercrosse Pros.

When I went to the local lacrosse store, I was looking at vents and they were nice. Then the lady was telling me about how everyone hated them and that they were not protective. However, Exept for her, I've never heard a bad thing about them. That lady doesn't know what she's talking about. Ah well, I ended up getting supercrosse arm guards. Pretty comfy, pretty protective, I love em!

Ive had a pair of ventxs for two years and they are in prestine condition. Go for another pair of vents. they are the king.

Well, my mpg 5.0s had a huge tear in them that I fixed yesterday with some thick thread so for now Im going back to those until I can get some money to get brand new something.

Keep the recommendations coming. I loved the protection of the vents but I had a huge problem with them slipping once I started sweating really hard.


**Edit** I have only had mine since July 2005 which makes me hesitant to get another pair.
