my ball-stop on my head has been destroyed, for lack of a better word. ive got another one to put on, but it has not tack on the bottom (not sticky). now i dont want to have to drive an hour and a half to a lacrosse store (the one near me closed down a couple months ago) for a freakin 4 dollar ball-stop. anyways what glue should i use on it? rubber cement? school glue?

Krazy Glue maybe or any other adhesive. Or go to a craft store and get foam with a sticky back.

Any strong kind of glue should do it. But not too strong or you won't be able to get it off should the need arise.

you shouldnt really ever need to take it off unless it actually falls off by itself... just a strong glue will work.im also really liking oranges idea.

Ok, but it is still legal in NCAA rules. And I doubt that this rule lasts a year. And I agree with whoever said it in that thread, who was smoking crack when they voted on that rule?!

The difference is one brand of ballstops may hold the ball more with a certain head. The only reason they would make a rule like that is because they figured somebody could get an advantage by doing this.
It is a pretty dumb rule though.

I still dont get how it can help you hold it in vertically better.the thickest ball stop is probably warrior or the ball stops on the pulse and other new brine heads which is less thana cm thick, about half a centimeter. its all based on your pocket and if the bottom string is loose or super tight

i know....refs are happy enough u have one. IT DOESNT MATTER TWO SH*TS IF U HAVE A DIFFERENT KIND OF BALL STOP. REFS DONT CARE. they care more about the pocket if it is illegal or not

Some refs are pricks, and love to show you that they know the rulebook better than you do. I guess you're lucky and haven't run into one of those yet. In case you do, though, it's best to obey all of the rules where "cheating" doesn't really give you any advantage (such as ballstops).
Anyway children, if you have say a Warrior ballstop and a Brine head or similar mismatch, do not despair.
Just remember the following expression:
Warrior/Brine/STX/Whatever ballstop + Heavy Black Magic Marker = unbranded ballstop.

That is retarded. It is a piece of foam. If it doesnt hold the ball more which it most likely doesnt why does it matter.
*EDIT* Why is it illegal to have no ball stop it seems like it is a disadvantage.

ok back to the question...
i had the same problem and so far this glue called E6000 has worked really well. It's a craft glue so you can buy it at hobby lobby or Micheal's. Really good...short drying time.
