Sounds interesting. It's probably just going to be a lot more pinched and lighter because Bionics are very heavy.

No, like the P2 it will have to be something clever, like B2. Better Bionic? Haha, that would be funny.

You may be referring to the Primer, which shares a similar sidewall design, forward cant, and keyhole design. In some senses, it's a lighter, more pinched bionic.

If he is thinking of the primer, Oh well. I can see the bionic 2 having the pinch of a deuce, being extremely light, more string holes, and same sidewall design.

Light is revolutionary, and relative. You wont use it because light for the bionic is still a few ounces heavier than the truth. Noodle arm cult may prevail once, but thats winning a battle, with a whole war ahead. :guns: lol

How about you get your own sense of humor, since he was likely being sarcastic too, hence the "winning side" remark, and the smiley face at the end.

They should scrap the Bionic or make one that is like 4 oz. That would almost make me want to buy one.

I wonder what it would look like, since the x3 looks basicly like the x2, im anxtious to see if it looks pretty much the same.

Face it, if STX would make a Bionic 2, it would be crankshaft'd. And that would immediatly dissapoint at least 95% of the people on the forums.

well, sorta...but IMO the primer is an exact copy of a gait icon, just more pinched

They made the P2 without a crank shaft, so i doubt thye will make it for it, and they seem to be choosing at radon which heads they are making compatable with the crank shaft.

Correct me if im wrong, but it seems like most people think a new idea is bad before they even try it. Just like the Arrow, most people thought it was crap before a review was made by Rockforce, just because it looked weird/was a new idea (just like Mayhem, Diesel, and aformentioned Crankshaft). For proof that most people dont like crankshafts (I personally love the idea, but its so damn expensive), just visit the thread about the X3, and how some users wont buy it because of the crankshaft.

crankshaft is cheap for a high end line head/shaft combo, cannon + crank 10 = $129, which is significantly less than any other brands top of the line, especially warriors top of the line: razer pro (108 strung) and levitation (190) which is slightly under 300(im not including the stx sci-ti b/c the price is ludicrous and im assuming alot of the best new stx heads will be crankshafted)

I against the X3 because of the fact that it comes with the krankshaft. Being a defender I see no need for that kinda stuff. First off it's crazy expensive, I got my c405 dpole for around $70 3 years ago. Sure it's all dented and dinged up but hey, it works. Sticks should not cost $200 unless it's very very high end material and very lightweight. Not just a stick with a bend in it.
Another reason is that the offset heads provide in my eyes the same exact thing as an offset shaft. Could someone please tell me the pro's and con's of offset heads vs. offset shafts. I mean really, come on.

i think you can get more offset w/ an offset shaft

Im pretty sure its the same thing. Its just STX's way of getting around Brine's offset head patent.

Exactly. I think that's sad. Many people are unwilling to accept changes and new ideas (this applies to more than lacrosse.)

but why would STX be coming out with new regular hi end shafts if they werent going to be making anymore offset heads? as i said before i believe stx is just picking a couple different heads to use on the crankshaft, just to get the ball rolling, like look how much attention the crankshaft is getting now that they have the X3 on it, I hope and am fairly confident that the Bionic is going to be a normal offset head.

i think that the idea that an offset shaft is a new idea is ridiculous. Many players who have played for a while know that these shafts are OLD SCHOOL!!! and that STX is bringing it back into their line because there is a demand for them. Personally I'm all for offset shafts but its all good.

dude theres only been about a jillion threads about the crankshaft legality...and the crankshaft is perfectly legal as long as it passes the tabletop test. u couldnt put a regular offset head on it b/c it wouldnt pass the tabletop test...so if the crankshaft has the crankshaft made head on it it is perfectly LEGAL. now quit bickering cause it is legal  :argue:
also on topic i hope that the bionic 2 is not on a crankshaft...if it comes out more pinched and lighter im definately gonna consider getting it for middie.

It'd be reverse offset, and I kinda doubt you could buy an X3 head without a crankshaft attatched.

He's talking about buying without a crankshaft. And yes, it would give you a weird reverse offset.
