I got a python for christmas. I really like the grip, however I hope that it will not ruin my mac daddies. Has anybody ever used a python or a shaft like it and had issues with gloves? I had a liquid metal and that tore up an old pair of gloves I had.

No, you should be fine. The python isn't especially grippy. Very few shafts are actually capable of damaging gloves.

well your comparing a liquid metal to a soft grip python composite. that doesnt make sense...no, your answer is no. there are no composite shafts that will ruin the palms on your gloves. the liquid metal and other coated (grippy sandpaper-like) will ruin your palms

No, the rubber grip can't do anything. It will not tear your gloves.

I have a python and insanities, I've had the gloves for 1 year, and they are still in the same shape as when I bought them, just a little dirtier. So no, dont worry about that.

no problemo, the reason is composite shafts have a little hollowness in them. At the first 5 inches or so a pencil thin hollow section is made, enabeling drilling or self tapping scrwes not to crack the shaft.

thanks guys. I wasn't worried about the texture of it ripping the gloves, more the friction of it, kind of like how grippy tape can do some damange. And yeah, it drills quite easily and doesn't mess up the shaft. It seems like a great shaft for anyone who hasn't used it, hasn't seen a game yet though.

yea if only the thing didnt look so retarted. I mean you can name it python but dont actually follow through and make it look like one.
