well i got these pads for christmas and my first thought were that they seemed pretty...well padded.

so i've been having two a day practices for the past few days and i've played 4 game sint hem and i'll have another 3 games with them tommorow.

protection is really good. im not sure exactly what brine was trying to say but the padding is basically composed of three layers. the foam, hard plastic, and then some padded compression neoprene all stacked on top of each other. this configuration seemed to be extremely protective. i took some brital checks today and barely felt anything. the only downfall as far as protection is that they dont cover up high very much. when you loook at the length of the pad they seem kind of short. noit a big deal to me since i dont like my pads high up on my arms but if you do i would suggest trying them on first.

the flexibiliy is great, for having used them for such a short period of time i can flex my arm while feeling almost no resistance. definantly a big plus to me.

ventilation was so so. they seemed to be very while ventilated during play the air gets through the mesh gusstes really well to keeps you cool. i wasnt to big of a fan of the new liner at first because it didnt seem to dry very quick but i ended up being wrong as my pads dried up very quickly. even after back to back games.

durability well i havent had them for to long but they seemed pretty solid and i definatly treat my elbow pads like **** because i generally dive alot and end up sliding on my elbows and i havent seen much wear on them yet.

as for slipping they didnt slip at all they have no little non slip pads in themwm which worried me at first but once again i was proven wrong.

i just got them yesterday and i was thinking about making a review about them but now that theres this nevermind the trouble. i agree with you, they are great, even though i havent played with them yet.

i also tried on the k18 arm pads... :jawdrop: they are the perfect arm pads. the most flexible of anything i've ever worn and the protection seems like it would be way above average. i was gonna get them but i didnt have the money.

Lets try to stay on the Supercrosse topic? Do you have any pics to add to the review?

my mistake, i meant the gaurds. i tried on the pads as well but wasnt a big fan of them. if your looking into the k18 arm gaurds, from what i can tell from just trying them on i say go for it, they felt incredible.

i have had them for a season, i would like to say that they are good while they last... they protect your arm well but when you get a hard check, some of the fabric rips.. anyways they do slide when you sweat a lot
