hey, i got an ipod, and i like to use it while practiceing lax. So i was playing wallball today and they kept falling out. I think i spent more time trying to get them to stay in my ear, then practiceing! anyone know any tricks to keep em in? Or can you recommend any good ones? Nothing big pls.

actual earphones are much better than ear buds for that kind of thing.. particularly those that go around your ear in some fashion

Buy sony wrap around headphones. The headphones where the band wraps around the back off your head.

I know this sounds stupid but make sure they're in the right ear. Lots of people don't realize there is a little L and R on each earbud.

Yeah, it took me 2 days to figure out why they didnt stay in straight.

And once you got them in there well, tug down on the cord a tad, should secure them.

I usually dont wear them, but the only time I do is snowboarding and they say in perfectly if they're under a winter hat, and it is winter time so that should work.

yes, i had my hoodie on and at one time they both sell out and i stepped on one! still works though, but it just a really big annoyance. i can practice for a long time without realizeing it if i have music. I use it when i skate too, same problem.

put them in upside down so that the wire wraps around your ear if that made anysense it will work

idk which headphones these went to, but one of my friends got an mp3 player i had never seen before, and they came with these buds that had little rubberish bands connected to it, right where it goes in your ear. it was connected to the bud, went out about half centmeter, and then fold back over and kinda floated about 1/2 centimeter away from the bud all around. that was probably the hardest thing i have ever had to describe....they are pretty much impossible to fall out , and they act like noise cancelling headphones. i would look into those for sure

do they make wireless headphones for the ipod?

anybody ever use them while actually warming up for games? like line drills? I've done it during practice and they actually stay in, even with my helmet on.

I wrap the extrawire around my ear once. It works for me.

most people wear earbuds in the wrong way. When they do manage to get them in the right ear, they dont realize that you get better sound if the plastic piece is at a 45 degree angle, pointed forward.

My left ear hates the iPod headphones, so I grabbed some Sonys that have this plastic thing that goes around your ear like glasses. They are perfect for sports.

Very true, I do that, and everyone thinks I'm wierd, but they are more comfortable that way. I personally am not liking the Earbuds much either, since I broke my last pair and used the Sony Hear's, but with my new iPod Video, I got more Earbuds. I might just get Spenny's Sony earphones.

Woah. that 45 degree angle thing made a HUGE difference. Very secure fit, i dont know about the sound difference but these puppies defiently arent going anywhere when i run from now on. Ipods are godly for running.

it's nearly impossible, get wrap arounds, the beanie works tho

you actually shouldnt run with ipods. You risk damaging the hard drive. That's why they invented flash mp3 players.

1. You could get the Apple In-Ear Earbuds

or

2. You put the left bud in your right ear with the cord wrapped around and the right bud in the left ear. This make them still fit wwhile not coming out.
