Just got this baby yesterday...its the new Gait ICE shaft by debeer...nothing cmpares to to...its the lightest shaft i have ever held...even puts those harrow shafts to shame....durablility you ask??? first thing i tested on it....went out to my hockey goal and swung for the fences...looked at the shaft..no scratch not even a dent...for my hockey goal...well lets not go there. Price?? this is the best part..your prolly thinkin at least a hundred bucks...ONLY 56!!!!...hard to believe but go to www.lacrossedigest.com and it will be there.....most durable and lightest shaft...nuff said

hey buddy with the ice. too bad harrows arent really that light? theyre among the heavier shafts that are on the market. and the ice is basically a db803 with a different finish, so its supposed to be the lightest shaft out there, just like the db803

It is the same as a DB803 meaning it is the same strength.

It was my friends and I used it for a day, not long enough for even a overview. And it was a Metal goal,

I always hear that the DB803 is the lightest shaft and I am really not so sure. Two of my buddies have DB803's and no doubt they are light. But I recently got a Kryptolyte and it is lighter. My buddy has a Triton with 6d and 3 shooters on a DB803. His shaft is 32 inches. I have a Triton with 6d and 3 shooters on my Kryptolyte. It is 30 inches. About the same amount of tape on each shaft. My combo is noticably lighter than his and we have had countless people confirm this. I doubt the extra 2 inches on his shaft would account for this. Hopefully we can get our hands on one of those scales that weighs grams and ounces to see what is what.

I think it just must be your perception. My friends kryptolyte is noticebly heavier than my db803. The weight feels different for different people.
