What kind of head are you using right now? And accuracy is really a skill and how the pocket is strung.

No certain head will give you better accuracy. Its all in the pocket my man.

EDIT: ahh he beat me to it ^^^

Accuracy is a matter of skill, and your pocket, but pinched head will usually give you a bit more accuracy.

If you want accuracy I'd go with a channeled pocket. And yeah AttackMan17 a pinched head might help.

you could try stringing a pita pocket. they have a good channel and they're not too hard to string

hmm razors are pretty pinched if you ask me. I think you just need to practice your shot accuracy. But yeah a pita is a pretty accurate pocket as nylax said.

whats the diff. between a soft or hard mesh?

well soft is soft and hard is hard, actually the hard mesh keeps a better pocket shape but is hard to break in and soft mesh is hard to get a pocket in ( unless you have a skilled hand at stringing) but is easier to get deep

Hard mesh has a waxy coating, soft mesh does not. With soft mesh, the pocket moves with the ball.

its all about you, no head will give you an advantage...... you have to spend HOURS practising and playing wallball......

my STX Arrow is alot more accurate then my e3 or nitrious(pinched) and it has the factory power V string up. i really like it but they are right, u need to get use shooting corners, get a cheapo lacrosse net or make one with tape on a cement or brick wall and take aim! :guns:

well, if youve been shooting w/ that pocket and it doesnt work, then ull hae to adjust it, i cant tell by looking at it, but it seems pretty worn in and used, u just need to adjust the shooters or sumthing

actually, heads do have advantages disadvamtages. like when a head is pinched it narrows the space that the head takes up. the disadvantage is that you have to be able to catch with that same size to.Mostly though it's if you're pocket is strung good and you practice with friends and stuff.

i use an evo pro and a gait oracle the accuracy on the gait is noticeable. the gait is not legal for collegiate or high school play so keep that in mind. the pinch on it makes the head too narrow for legal play. but if you are playing club it is a great head with good accuracy. you do have to get used to catching with it though because of how narrow it is. check it out you might like it even though the design is ugly as hell.

:dummy: i have been told that shooters make alot of difference, i have 2 shooters, i have been told that 3 gives you better accuracy, i dont know, i'd say you might just need some practice, a head wont make you a better player.

No shooters don't affect accuracy (unless they're not symmetrical). What's you accuracy problem? If you're throwing to the sides then you just need to practice more and if you're throwing up/down you may need to adjust you throwing style or add/subtract whip.

THANK YOU Tomahawks, it's the only way to get accuracy and precision along with shot speed. No head gives you an advantage.

is catching really a problem for you guys? When i play backyard lacrosse i use a guru and catch nearly every pass. I would probably get the evo pro with a pita pocket. they have a nice channel if you can set it up right.
