I was wondering if it's possible to assign a picture for the sub-screen (the screen on the outside of flip-phones). My Verizon phone came with three ugly pictures for the sub-screen and I want to use a different one.
I got the same exact problem, and I havent figured it out yet.

There are three choices and they're all like blue or purple bubbles.
Yeah, it looks like something a Japanese school girl would use.

oh mine has choices of a digital clock and a flowery clock and a redish clock, the last 2 are the kind with the hands. idk what they are called all i need to know is digital.

How about we start with what kinds of phones we have. Usually though only LG's have a fully customizable external screen. The newer motorolas show the current internal screen resized on the out. The older mot.'s give you a crappy choice. There is a hack but it it is way to involved.

take picture,set as front screen ive got a verizon lg vx 7000 and its fine.if yours is not a camera phone than you can download some

On my phone, the picture is just a decorated backlight. I thought it was a color screen when I got the phone.

Yea since you dont have an external screen (from googeling{sp?} your phone) you dont have this problem.

My phone has three options, and pix I take are not one of them. It's a Verizon CDM8940.

The razr puts your backgroun image as ur sub-screen image. Get it. Verizon carries the gun-metal color its nasty.

Like i said, The newer motorolas (e815 +) show the wallpaper on the outside. Still want custom though. On new lg's you can set videos as wallpapers on the inside and outside
