im only a sophomore in HS, but they other day at work i was thinking about what i would do with my life and what new skis i should get for next season. then came the idea to start a ski company. so i sat down and started drawing some ski designs and what not and started thinking of a name. i came up with 6th FLR, because thats the floor the pshyc ward was on when i volunteered at a hospital last semester. they would be like freestyle/freeride/all-mtn/backcountry skis. this idea stuck with when i went to bed that night and the more i thought about it the better the idea sounded. so far i have about 5 designs drawn out. i dont know what material i would make the skis out because that would require a lot of expierementation and materials which i dont have of but hey, i have another 10 or so years to progress this idea. what do you guys think of this idea and anyone got any suggestions

Maybe instead of doing the whole process of starting a company, look into become a graphics designer for an already existing ski company.

ahaha i could think of something i guess. yeah i know its gunna be hard to beat them all out, but i would probably do it as a side company type thing, it wouldnt be like a full time job until it got to be fairly popular. plus there arent as many big ski companies that make strictly freesride/freestyle skis. there like line, ninethward, 4frnt, armada, k2 and saloman. only k2 and saloman are the really big ones

regardless of what companies there are, breaking into the ski world would be really hard, and you would lose ALOT of money at first, what with expenses and materials and all that good stuff.
