Don't know. The Sting were the western champs last year, placed 2nd in the championships, and just beat the champions last week. Plus, it's the first home game (they're going to be raising the Champions of the West banner just before the face-off), so I'd imagine they're on a bit of a high. Should be interesting.

Even though almost it defies most logic, im gonna say Portland. Can't root against my home town now can i? Eliuk had better have a heck of a game.

Well that all depends...it doesn't stink for myself and FallIntoIt, we're inherently Sting fans.

Word.
However, I've decided that anytime the Sting and Jax aren't matched up, I'll root for the Jax. Their owner was at the arena last night, up in the press box, screaming for her team. I thought that was admirable. Plus the fact that she's a woman owner in a male-dominated sport (playing and ownership).. I dig it.
p.s. The Sting rose the NLL West Division Champions 2005 banner last night. And it's crooked.

Yeah the sting definitely had a better team concept going last night and to be honest I was digging the Jax's offense. Also Craig Conn is kind of good at box lacrosse. Portland needs some time to gel, and pretty soon they will be the awesome team I know they can be.

Not only is she a woman owner...she's also the youngest owner of any pro sports team.
