I'm trying to improve my lefty shot to a point where it is good enough to score from at least 15 yards out. I don't have a problem with shooting or skills its just the machanics. I can't get proper form and it feels really akward to shoot full speed. What should I do.

go to a wall put it in your left hand and practice, if you have problems with the mechanics then just lob it at the wall slowly and work on your form, eventually it will become second nature as your muscle memory gets used to it

look in a mirror or something and see the positioning you have with your right
try to mimic that with your left hand too
also what raykessler said is good.

^^^^^^^^^
you can also do 2 handed
when doing line drills also work hard on your left hand
scrimmages; then works well also

you shouldnt be shooting from 15 yards out. should be 12 yards or less
I have the same problem. All my lefty on the run shots would be bounce shots. Actually, the bounce shots were really good but I still wanted a stronger lefty shot so I used a mirror to work on my form. First see how you do it with your right hand than try to copy it exactly with your left. Also try to use more of your shoulder rotator thing when you shoot lefty.

wall. wall. wall. Any of my teammates or friends that have trouble with there non-dominant hand, I tell them to simply get on the wall. When I was working on my off hand, I didn't practice shooting, I just went to the wall got the basic mechanics down, and worked on my quick sticks. That helped translate to shooting perfectly. I really think that the wall is the best tool for stick skills, thats why I'm always on it and thats why I think I see good results.

Can't shoot lefty at all. I usually just try to catch the ball in a position to shoot righty.

Get some tape. (A regular round circle of tape that you get at the store) and put it on your shaft. Get infront of a mirror and practice proper form. This way you can see what you are doing wrong without buying some piece of crap eqipment or breaking something.
