in order to be the best in lacrosse you have to have speed and skill. One skill that is so important is passing. if your pass is off or just really bad congratulations, you have a new starting positon:benchwarmer. I had been fooling around with different ways of passing the ball like overhand, sidearm or 3/4. i play defense so all of these are a little hard to master. My coach told me to pop up my left elbow and aim for the person i was throwing to (i am righty so if you are lefty switch elbows) when i did that, my passes were perfect and right to the guy i was throwing to. It has worked so well for me that i spend everyday for about half an hour throwing without a ball to perfect the way i pass. try it out one day. i guarentee you it will make you the best lax player out on the field.

sort of point it in a line from the middle of your chest through your elbow to your target

^^This works for goalies too.....when shooters are using good form, you can sometimes read elbows to get a jump on where the shot is going. They can also help you tell whether it's a shot or a fake.

how high do u raise your elbow?cause my passes are fine but im sure they could eb better & i dont know if i do this right, we throw short medium & long passes a lot, long being 60, short 20, medium 40....anyways for long i normally raise my left elbow(im righty) perpendicular to my body, i think it helps for leverage& accuracy is that kinda what your talking about?

Point it at the target. Good pitchers point there glove at the target before they throw, you're doing the equivalent.
