Have a look at my stringing and tell me what you think of the shooting strings
I did the U like that because i found that the ball would always catch on it and this way it doesn't
does anyone else use this or is it rubbish

ive never thought of doing a U that way but also, ive never had a problem with the regular. The picture is kind of blurry so i cant see that well but it looks as if the pocket isnt that deep.but overall nice job

Whatever works for you, I sort of think it's rubbish, but I kind of just wanted to put that word. Rubbish. It's cool that there's laxers all the way from Australia on the forums. I don't use it, but like syracuselax said, I haven't had any problems with regular U's

sorry to burst your bubble but i still prefer a u farther down and more outstretched and also what do mean by

Looks pretty good from that angle. Try to get a picture of the sidewall strings. Also, if the ball was getting caught in the U you could have moved all your shooters up a row or two and got rid of the nylon. But whatever, if it works for you stick with it.
