My first Pinch (A Cyber)

I finally got the picture of my first pinch I did on my Cyber last week. I pinched it so it is near pinched to the max in front, and then it flares out in back.

The face is really tight, if it's still legal, then I like it. I personally would go for the flared sidewalls next time. But that's my only suggestion, otherwise it looks good.

Yeah, you made it like the edge; inwardly flared. If you like that, fine, but most people don't.

looks pretty sexy, but when i pinch my heads i like to tie a shooting string around the bottom sidewall then put like a pencil in there and twist the pencil in order to tighten it, after the boiling. i like to do it on the bottom sidewall because i like to have a little flare in there, thats why i love my blade.

check out how the sidewalls are angled on a warrior blade, thats how i pinch my heads.

I see what you are saying, I was going for how everyone is saying the truth pinch is. Narrow front, Wide back.

its good but u should bleach the head so its white, not dirt brown

Thanks guys. tomahaks11 I kind of pinched it as much as a I could at the top with out it being under 6.5 inches at the widest point, so I don't think I will be able to do that.

edit: I forgot to add that the pinch resulted in absolutlely no loss in strength.

I really like that pinch I think I might try one sometime
it just makes more sense because the reason trapping happens isnt becuase of the face, but because the sidewalls and mesh make it a little bit tighter

can someone tell me he point of pinching in the front but not in the back. Doesn't thaqt kind of defeat the purpose of pinching it since you pinch it to make it more narrow, but if you don't make it more narrow in the back then you did nothing but make a smaller catching area in the front.

looks good to me man. clean up all of the ball marks and make it look like new again. then stick some mesh in there and tell us how it throws!

Yeah it kind of shrunk there when I boiled it. I will be putting traditional in so I will post picks of the string job. NF Lax I will try to make diagram showing the advantages of different pinches.
