it doesnt need a saddle, its not an RP. and alot of people do that kidn of stuff to their gurus. its for fun, just like the stick itself.

a waste of time can only be determined by the one doing the “time wasting”. If the person is satisfied with the time he is spending on project no matter how redundant it may seem to others it was time well spent. Sometimes its not practical to do more elaborate string jobs in game sticks so why not put an impractical sting job in an impractical stick such as the guru? I personally take time to relax and play with new and innovative ways to string lacrosse sticks. If fun and after a rough day its great to sit back, relax, watch something one TV, and string a lacrosse stick.

I like the string job… keep experimenting and string on!

Cause im cool like that.
Im also very stressed, i just went throught 3 hours of tryouts with a sprained ankle...I had to do full field suicides for half an hour...and every time we slowed down, we'd get another minute.

So long story short, i tore up my ankle, had nothing to do, and i was all like

"Hey, self...your hurt, so why dont you do something cool with that neat little trick stick you got a few weeks ago?" And then i said to myself..."Sounds good...lets limp to my room to get some crosslace and leathers!" *limps down hall* A few moments later, i emerge from the depths of my chamber with my guru, and some stringing supplies.

holy colorblindness! i thought that was gold string.
Maybe this happened to you also but whenever I go to string RP's I get lazy ang just do regular trad on the side instead of twists and ditch the top coil and saddle... I've only fully strung an RP once.
And this is gonna sound pretty dumb but I like your knots.

We're in the sticktech forum so I'm pretty sure everyone here loves to string. And seeing as the Guru was designed for tricks (aka fun), then why wouldn't it be fun (and not a waste of time) to restring it?
