I'm p laying a tournament in a week and I just realized that my game stick is unstrung. I don't feel like going through a whole break-in process so I'm thinking of just getting some jimalax semi-hard. Is there any disadvantages to using this mesh or is it simply just pre-worked in hard mesh straight up?

man i tried it today and it was horrible, i had no pocket and the whip was worse then soft, i suggest catapultion. nut i did hold the ball well, real well.

wow ive never known anyone with that kind of experience. maybe it was the way it was strung weird. anyways, i personally love it.

yeah, im not sure if there is any disadvantages to it lol. it has been a great mesh for me personally. i use it in both of my sticks. it has some great hold and when i strung it up it had zero whip...with no shooters. hopefully that helps, and good luck on your tourney.

I like my semi-hard...when its dry.

When its wet, it litterally throws like a t-shirt tied to a shaft.

does jimalax sell semi-hard kits, or just single mesh pieces?

link???

You can buy a hard mesh kit, and ask them to exchange the hard mesh for semi-hard. Theyre nice...they just give me the original kit, and 2 pieces of whatever mesh i requested... I<3 jimalax.

On the home screen go down to the bottom they have white semi hard that you can order next to the caicos blue cata mesh

It's much whippier than regular hard. If you can't stand whip, don't get it.

Technically the whip is all in the way the stick is strung (how you string, shooters, pocket placement). But the only reason why people are saying it's "whippy" is because it gets softer a lot faster than normal hard mesh (because it's technically "broken in" already). It's pretty nice mesh, but I would just get regular hard if I were you. Just break in the hard mesh and it will last you longer than the semi-hard.

I would just use hard and start breaking it in right now, because by the time you get the semi hard, string it, break that in, and such, you can have a perfectly fine hard pocket.
