Stretch your mesh and soak it in warm water with conditioner before you string it.

...Why would it hurt? I do it all the time and I feel no pain. It just creates a mess afterwards. I've learned to just go ahead and buy red mesh.

There was a thread on this a while back. One effective trick in it that was to take out the car head rest, stretch it out your mesh, slide to two poles through the mesh, put it back in and let it stretch for a while. It worked out pretty well for me.

i learned from trial and error. look at college goalie sticks and try to copy them, becuase they usually have the best sticks out there. my favorite is the one matt mconagle uses from cornell, its a triple sidewall hard mesh pocket and it throws nice if broken in well, ill try to get some pics up.

yea wuts up with these aussies? it seems like everypost from them has some kryptic alien down under language... lets maybe start typing in english so the rest of us damn yanks can decipher it!

Try both open and closed sidewall and see which one you like better. I used open at first, because it was supposedly better, and gave me a deeper pocket. But now I like closed so much better, so it's personal preference.
