Best pocket for whip

I searched for this... but could'nt find this topic anywhere. Anyways, I am an Attackmen and I love whip. Not a ton of whip, but a decent amount. What is the best mesh and pocket combo for good hold and whip?

well you can, in my past experience, put some gnarly whip with 10d and tight shooters. as long as you tighten the nuts outta your shooters i think you can whip anything.

Softer mesh (soft mesh or semi-hard), tighter shooters, and a high pocket.

if you are not only interested in meshes, pita pockets are easy to add whip to, but bottom line is if you know how to string, you can make any pocket throw however you want.

yes. use soft mesh. string all ur shooters loose. and make ur pocket really deep.

If you want alot of whip use soft mesh, tight shooters, and make your pocket right uderneath the shooter.

If you want a decent amount of whip you could try a high hard mesh pocket,soft mesh,high semi-hard,5d,6d,or a high traditional or pita pocket. With the 10d,soft and semi-hard do two straight up top then double U's(make the shooters fairly tight but not so much that the ball cathes on the U's). With the 5d and 6d do one straight and then double U's(make the shooters fairly tight but not so much that the ball cathes on the U's). With the traditional pockets make the pocket very high with decently tight shooters. All of these combo's should give you a decent amount of whip with good hold(as long as the pockets are big).

High pocket, tight shooters, monster mesh. The most whip in a stick I ever used was this custom pocket I invented but the pocket somehow got high and the ball would go straight down when I threw.

check out my high pocket tutorial...to add more whip tighten the shooters fairly tight...that should give you a hell of a whip

weel the whipyest pockets i have played with are duramesh and 8d. my 8d hade dubble sidewall so that may have made it more whipy... but stx duramesh has tons of whip if you wet the pockert and do the ball andf nife trick

Yeah, that's beyond whip.

Try using traditional. You can get lots of hold and whip with tight shooters. You also get a low,middle and high pocket all in one.

I use as much whip as possible without the ball catching. I have one stick with 1 straight nylon and a U this has alot of whip decent accuracy. on my other i have 2 straight nylons that are very very tight and a loose U. on another i have 2 straight shooters on the very top rows. I use a low pocket on all of these and have alot of whip almost so much that the ball doesnt leave the stick. All these are strung on hard 10d
