That thread really only talks about how to do an Indian Grap.
I can't do much: indian grab, shoot from between my legs (with the stick behind my back), and the little flip twistie thing where you start with the stick parallel to the ground.
ps. any tips for shooting from behind your back? ..with a girls stick, of course.

I can do around the world, btb, indian pick up, bounce the ball on the shaft, bounce the ball on the head, between the legs, i can sorta rev the motor...umm there's prolly more but that's some of them.

well when i do it i am usually coming around the cress and i cradle then i make the stick do a half spin outward and when its spinning i jsut shoot it. i know it doesnt make sense but its the best way i can explain it.

even tho i'm a goalie i've learned to indian pick-up, behind the back, around the world, between the legs, idk wut it's called but like a flippy thing in the air with the ball,i can throw the ball up and wrap my stick around it twice then catch it...also wut confuses a goalie is to make a fake (shot) then take a long leg stride and throw the ball between ur legs while they r spread apart...a few more but idk wut they r called and it's kinda hard to describe

I do, you throw the ball up, and catch it on the side of the shaft. Then let it roll. Next throw it back up, and catch it.

What's an Indian Pickup?
Gosh...I didn't know there were names for all these things...

I do not think it is possible to do in a game because it would be show boating but I saw a 12 y/o girl in practice - Throw the ball in the air - do a cartwheel - catch the ball in mid flight and score a goal.

an indian pickup is when you hold the stick wit hone hand and kind of slide it acrosse the ball and you poop up the ball and catch it. its really weird to explain.

Dip your shoulder down. Make sure your stick isn't starting to go horizontal. Also, another common problem is girls don't come straight forward with their stick while throwing it. Hard to explain, but instead of using the normal throwing motion, they sort of side arm it or make their stick go in a big half circle...It's hard to put into words, but just make sure the head of your stick stays high and ends low, like when you throw normally.

ohh...I know what you mean...like twist your wrist though...
unless it's something different, because I thought you just picked it up not that you "poop up the ball and catch it"

well when you twist your wrist and roll the stick head over it the ball kind of pops up not alot but kinda.

That's not an indian pickup shown in the video. I'm not really sure what you'd call it, but that's no where near it. An indian pick up is hard to explain...If you hold your stick horizontal, and then spin it around in your hand while still staying horizontal is kind of like the motion you do. Now imagine doing that across the ground over a ball to scoop it up. That's what an indian pick up is. I've never tried it with a girls stick, but I imagine it's pretty near impossible to do as described...I'll try it out tomorrow at practice and see, but I don't see how it'd work without having more of a pocket.

the way i pick up the ball is i swing the stick like a golf club with the head slightly on a slant and when the farmost head wall moves the ball forward i spin my stick and pick it up and run

thats what wheel did he just did it far more controlled. it's the more game-worthy way of doing it. indian pickups in games are risky, just watch nemesis' on the draw video.

this is an indian pick up.. I don't know what about it doesn't make it so..
would u rather I stood still and banged it into my head??
this is probably the smoothest indian pick-up on tape..(ok.. I'm a little biased, but u know)

Yeah, CTlaxer, that is an indian pickup that wheelax did, but not the smoothest on tape. Mikey's in the powell bros highlight reel is the smoothest IMO. But that's still pretty sick
