Hi All,

Just thoght i'd give a quick Happy Australia Day to the aussie contingent on here (which just keeps growing). Hope you are all well and gearing up for lax season in the heat...whilst i do the same thing in the bloody cold.

I am going in search of VB tomorrow (US time) to celebrate the invasion of Terra Australis by the white man! Hope you all did something of the same.

Anybody else see on the news our womens world champions and upcoming mens world championship lacrosse teams in the Australia Day parade in Melbourne.

Good for the women to get some recognition and our men to get some publicity and a good luck from the nation. :thumbsup:


And it sure aint Anzac day, but it is still a good day to be thankful for what we have and the people who have sacrificed to provide us with all we enjoy.

I also think it would be a great time to say thanks to our firefighters. Especially considering the fact that victoria is once again under a seige by mother nature with towns threatened, houses destroyed and people killed. Thank god for the CFA. :worship:
