What do people think of the divisions for 2006 Worlds.
In 2002 Germany, Czech Republic, Scotland, Sweden, Korea & Wales were in the same division, and I think the with newer countries were in an 'emerging nations' division.
This time round the teams above will be spread across 3 divisions playing against 1st time entrants - Latvia, Bermuda, Spain, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Slovakia - plus those entering for the 2nd time - Ireland, New Zealand, Italy, Hong Kong.
I expect there will be some extremely one-sided games , but I suppose it gives the newer teams a higher profile than they received in the last tournament.
Also, the 2nd team from the top division (i'm guessing that will be Canada or Australia) gets to play the top finisher in the Yellow division (likely to be Czech republic or Sweden). Again, this will probably be a very one-sided game.
