I need some help here.
My mate is in the Aussie Under 19's team, and they all have to use dB heads... But then what I found more interesting is that they have to use the same pocket.
I could understand using the dB heads, but some people may find the pocket different to what they are using?
Also, are womens pockets like mens... Meaning, can you string them thousands of ways? Or are there only a select few?

I'm not quite sure what your question is in that first paragraph. To answer your second question, there are many different types of stringing options for women's sticks, though the rules are more strict which limits the amount of variation in comparison to the mens game.

She has to use the Traker Pro pocket (I think).
My question is, why would that be?
dB is their sponsor, but should the pocket be personal preferance?

Well that isn't really a question we can answer...sure the pocket should be individual preference but it's the same deal as the head. Since deBeer is the sponser they can dictate what the girls will use and since the Trakker Pro is their top of the line pocket it makes sense for them to try and market that by making the U-19 team use it.

As sumsum pointed out, it should be personal preference, but we don't know what the exact story is in this situation. It could be a number of things. For example, it might've been a part of the sponsorship agreement or trakker pro was just what all the sticks came with.
An interesting thing that I'm starting to see is some retailers are only shipping sticks with the manufacturers own synthetic specialty pockets/stringing. Places like sportsherway.com don't offer an option to ship them with other types of stringing. This is a new development as far as I can tell...and one which doesn't bode well for the average girl just picking up the game.
