Drink 2 liters of water a day,(force youre-self) keep busy eat good food and dont eat after 8p.m. . Drinking lots and lots of water really helps the lbs fall off.

The first time i broke my jaw i lost 35 lbs in about three weeks. If you really need to loose fast eat everything thru a straw, whatever you can put in a blender i was eating. However my energy level was down, lets put it this way i will never eat yougert again!!
Drink meal replacement shakes such as slimfast.

Gonna be hard, I dont know if its the healthiest thing to do. 1 lb a week is best.

it is i guess slightly unhealthy but its do able. 1 lb a week is too little and you can lose a lot more in a week than that. during wrestling i lost 5 lbs in two days and my energy level and strength stayed the same. just do non stop conditioning and eat healthy. and dont get hurt or push yourself over the limit.

what kind of protein shakes would you recommend ?

For loosing weight, I would not suggest X-eclipses diet at all. Protein shakes are supplaments geared toward gaining muscle mass. Just eat clean, for get the protein, and meal replacement shakes. Do cardio, stay active and you will be fine.

For you guys who can't read, try looking at the first sentence. I was just saying that it's what I do. I don't need to lose weight, I'm already in great shape. I was making a point that protein should be in every meal and you should cut out fatty and fried foods. If you look at the second part of my post about drinking water and doing cardio, you'll find the answer to the initial question.
and i was just trying to say i didnt like your sample diet... Wasn't knocking the second part

You guys realize that this is a girl right?
Try to eat more (5-6) low calorie meals and supplement whatever workout you are doing now with 30-45 minutes of cardio. (If you're not doing an hour or so already).
It is harder for women to lose weight because they store it in different places and have different metabolisms. By eating more meals and smaller portions your emtabolism will kick in and start buring the calories you consume more efficiently. The cardio will also help.

Im not gonna tell you what to do because your training regimen should be tailored to you. But once for wrestling I had to lose 12 pounds in 3 days. I was over by 7 ounces. that sucked. But talk to a sports physiologist or someone that is really buff (or athletic).

I like bigDman's meal plan, its based on complex and natural foods. Keep in mind that everyones dietary needs should be based on their sex, lean muscle mass, daily activity/caloric expenditure, and fitness goals. I listed the protein and carbohydrate guidelines I use when designing eating plans for athletes. I hope this helps.
NSCA PROTEIN REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary person 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight
Recreational athlete 1.0 to 1.5 grams per kilogram of body weight*
Endurance-trained athlete 1.2 to 1.6 grams per kilogram of body weight*
Strength-trained athlete 1.4 to 2.0 grams per kilogram of body weight
*Factors that influence the range include type of training, desired increase in muscle mass, maintenance of increased muscle mass, and adequacy of calories.
NSCA CARBOHYDRATE REQUIREMENTS
Recommended intake
One hour daily training at 70% maximal oxygen uptake = 6-7 grams of carbohydrate per kilogram of body weight per day
Two to three hours daily training at 70% maximal oxygen uptake or above = 8-10 grams of carbohydrate per kilogram of body weight per day

in order to loose 10lbs you have to create a calorie deficit of 35000 calories. So that means that each day you have to burn or not consume 1250 calories each day to loose that 10 lbs. I think that 8lbs in 4 weeks is a healthier goal.

yea, just looked at the calender, i have 5weeks actually, my bad.
you shouldnt really have any problem doing that. intense exercise, no soda / fast food, tons of water and you should be there

Hmm...because I used to be a freak, I used to do weight watchers and count points and all that. It really worked. As for eating tips, make sure you get all the main food groups and don't overload on the carbs and on the junk food. As said before, drink lots of water, force yourself.
You might want to build a little muscle to make up for the fat loss, or you might turn floppy. Probably not, but I heard about people who lose too much weight in too little time and they have all that excess skin.

water is not a fat burning machine as some people think...it makes you piss more and threw that it helps you clean out your system. She wont lose 10 lbs by simply drinking water and eating better, Exercise is the key to burning fat.
