i know that there are a bunch of thread for wieght loss, but i kinda have some specific questions and i wanted to consoladate them rather than spreading them out.
my bio:
13
5'5"
155
always been big-boned (seriously--11lbs, 14oz at birth) and strong,
so its not all fat
i am very active, with sports 5-6 days a week. i suprisingly dont eat a ton and i guess i just am unlucky and have a slow metabolism

i know my average diet isnt great, but its not horrible. i try to not totally restrict myself with protein shakes and stuff.

Breakfast: 1-1/4 cup of frosted miniwheats

Lunch- at school: chicken patty with milk and apple juice

Snack-pear

Dinner- roast chicken with something, maybe an apple.

i exercise and try not to eat that much, Why am i not loosing weight

also, when should i weigh myself?

If thats not working you need to do more cardio and exercise. You need to burn more calories than you take in. Its that simple. Since you have a slow metabolism you need to watch the calories more. You may not be eating alot but those few things probably have alot of calories.

Or its too soon to see results and yes you should weigh yourself and keep track of your diet and weight.

It looks to me like you're not eating enough, the food choices could be a little cleaner, and you're going too long without food.

Well your diet doesn't have a single vegetable in it, which is a problem, but probably coincides with an average american's diet. You might want to expand your choices or you will get bored. FAST.

are the nutrients of the veggies worth the extra calories?

dont eat less since it might even slow your metabolism even more, eat enough, but not more
and lots and lots of fiber

If you eat too few calories then your metabolism slows because your body thinks your starving. Go to menshealth.com or bodybuilding.com and look at nutrition articles.

Eat Healthy! I cannot stress that enough.

So as long as you eat healthy and burn more calories then you put on, you fine.

im saying that should i eat more nutricious food to sacrifice the extra calories?

like eat more veggies and fruits for the vitamins, but they do have extra calories.
