I had one for a few weeks, and it was good while it lasted. But then it got snapped by a d-man with a harrow. Therefor, i wasnt too pleased with it.

Get a harrow, they are way better then the python or python optra.

I hit one with my old AL6000 pole, which was a tank, and it dented about a quarter inch, so its not the thickest.

I have one, but its to mess around with when I use my shortstick. I was looking for a composite, and didnt feel like shelling out 100 bucks to get a Harrow. Im overall pleased with it so far.

Pythons are snakes, not shafts. Lets keep it that way.Harrows on the other hand are great shafts. So go with Harrows for shafts.

Not every one has enough money to buy a Harrow. Depends on what kind of competition your facing. Highschool or above I would reccomend something besides the Python, not nessacarily the strongest. But if you can't afford the Harrow or don't feel like breaking out that kind of money for a shaft there are plenty of cheaper options I'm sure you can find.

i think the python is worth the price. i have an optra, but havn't used it in a game yet, i likeendless mainly use it to mess around, except mine was an optra, just cause it was like on sale, but if i were looking for a good shaft i would turn away from composites. but they're great if u like 'em.

i have a python, i got it real cheap off some kid used, its not that bad, but then i again i havent used it too heavily. It does IMO have the best grip out there byfar.

I know a couple guys that have them and they said that they get lots of little cracks and the paint chips off. I have also heard that there is a spot a few inches from the throat that will usually break if it takes a good check.

captain frank ur right on the money about the throat...ive broken two myself. the warranty is all good tho. i still love em
its pretty good, its my game stick. Ive had it for 2 seasons, and it just chips. Then again I dont break mine because I protect my stick, and I dont take swinging hacks I actually play legitamite defense and play body. Its held up well for me, and I like the grip. Easy to switch hands with

Strenght is decent, Ive had it for 2 seasons and it only chips, never has bent or break.

Silly greg. As gigo stated, they do snap and not dent.

When are people gonna learn that composite shafts are weak pieces of junk?

A harrow is a weak piece of junk eh? Then how come my harrow broke a fairly new Ti. A mohawk ti. Obviously this must mean titanium is a weak piece junk too then. Pythons are brutally weak. Harrows kick ze recatal area buy one.

Chuck Norris eats pythons but the day he eats a Harrow he will die.
Just had to say that.

Well then they were i-Beams. And you probably lieing anyway. Seriously my harrow can take on anything except another harrow. then its luck. The monster doesn't have the chipping problem either
