Head: Goalmaster
Shaft: db803
CP: Brine Spartan or Warrior MPG CP
No, he needs only a CP and throat guard. If he feels the need he can get goalie gloves, but he can always just tape the thumbs of field gloves.
Keep in mind this is very preference based. I happen to love the goalmaster, and it's cheap. He might not like it. Also, I just put the cheapest Cps I could find, because unless he's sure he wants to play he shouldn't invest in very expensive stuff.

The debeer sentenial is a good CP. The GM3 is a great head. And he needs a throat guard, and some gloves.

C2 Throat Guard (fits Cpro/Cpx/CLH2/C2)
Spartan DX CP
A Goalmaster would be the best bet for a cheap goalie head, unless you can find a used Eclipse or Nemmy on the forums cheap.

If you don't mind cruddy images (flags) on a goalie head, you can get a deal on goalie heads on EBAY

You can use a back-catcher's chest protector as well. That's what our back-up goalie used last season instead of having to buy new gear (he found it in our gym).

Not goalies.

hey persoanlly i like the nemisis and if your going to be a goalie get a good head the shaft isnt that inportant for a goalie. and for the cp get a desent one nothing to expencive on i mean as a a goalie the chest protector only dose so much you your self take the hit anf the golves it dosnet matter and if you really want to invest some good money in something make it yr nut portectors get a nice pair of the padded shorts and still wear a cup under that as well u will never be afraid to take a shot in the balls again
