which shaft out of these is stronger???
Gait Debeer 6000 Alloy?
or
STX AL 6000??
The gait 6000 alloy is stronger. And I think it's a little heavier.

I have both shafts lying around and I would have to say the STX AL6000 is definately stronger and heavier. The Gait is paper thin, although it might be a junior shaft because it came with my Icon.

I haven't used the gait shaft, but the STX AL 6000 is crap. It got really bent after my first game.

Probably the Gait alloy. It dents so easily.

Probably the Gait alloy. It dents so easily.
Are you saying the gait is stronger because it dents easier? Doesn't make sense.
I'd have to say the gait is stronger than the al6000

The Stx is much stronger, because of the octagonal grip. The Debeer has that rounded, triangular grip, so it bends a lot easier.

Well they're both standard shafts, so neither of them compare to anything you would buy seperately. I really don't think it matters. Go for the heavier one.

i think texlax.com has a comparison chart between all the shafts but i'd say the STX one but there both aluminum so why not buy a cheap Cu31 or other alloy shaft

I'm pretty sure STX AL6000's are weaker. I set my old one up on the curb, and 5 jumps on it bent it. I was then able to easily bend it the rest of the way and touch each end together.

The DB 6000 is much better than the STX6000. MY gait has lasted over a year...my STX snapped really fast.

I have the answer last year while messing around before practice i broke a kids al600 with my gait 6000 that was my back up stick. I could of been the way i hit it but i believe it was the shaft

Wrong.
The Triax 6000 is a beast.....by far the toughest ~$25 shaft on the market. The metal is easily twice as thick as most aluminum shafts. It's heavy as hell, but it'd stand up to a lot.
The 6000 series junk that Gait is using now in a more traditional shape is flimsy as hell. So is the STX.
They're same ballpark for quality, but I'd rank the STX as marginally more durable.

By far i think gait's shafts are stronger then Stx's, but the Stx Ti is pretty strong as well even though its a lot more then all of the choices.

i voted the STX but i lied.....however i'd still say the gait one is better...STX weighs a TON, & it still bends easily whereas the Gait shaft is incredibly light & cheap but not quite as strong....stay away from the STX Al6000 man, i mean seriously if you have to wait 2-3 extra weeks to save up $ & buy your shaft do it cause in the long run it'll benefit you (great atlantic has a special right now short stick ignite optras for like 60$ i think)
