I was seaching a lot about the brine hypersonics since they looked really good and I might want to buy them for my bday next week. I've tried the blurs and have to agree with the laxnation review that they are not the most comfortable cleats around. A lot of you are predicting the hypersonics will be as bad as the blurs.

The main cons about the blurs are the durability, the sole thiness, and the traction. The hypersonics description says they have some kind of wedge in it for added comfort and shock absorbtion and whatever.

I don't know about the durability, since they don't say anything about it.

In the laxnation review, it showed that the blur spikes were rounded and didn't give good traction. I saw that too when I tried them. But in the pics of the hypersonic spikes are like the nike ss spikes which are supposed to be good.

Top is blur, middle is hypersonic, and bottom is superspeed.

So do you think brine will have learned from the blurs and actually make a good cleat? I'm seriously considering buying these from bacharach. Either these or the nike shogun lx's. I was considering the superspeed d's but the ones that were my size were out of my price range. I'll write a review for whatever one I get.

I find it hard to beleive that Brine's made a good cleat only one try after their disastrous Blur debacle. Just look how many tries it took them to get the Triad right (if it's even been completely fixed).

Well they recalled it, so they must've messed up again.

They recalled it? Where does it say? I only heard that the Brine Xp3 helmet was recalled.

basically, everything that was bad about the blurs is the opposite of the Hypersonics, now the soles are HUGE, they look like platforms, get the nikes

I wouldn't trust cleats from Brine. They've only had one shot at cleats and they blew it. Just get some football/soccer cleats if you can't afford burns.

they have been in the soccer buisness for some time, which is why i dont understand why these cleats are not better.

If you haven't noticed, they look incredibly similar to soccer cleats. Lacrosse is not soccer.

Actually Brine used to/still are making soccer equipment, so I'm sure they aren't just sticking nails through the bottom of shoes and slapping a brine logo on them. I think the Blurs resembled soccer cleats rather than lacrosse cleats. Soccer cleats are made so they can glide through the grass during kicks. Lacrosse cleats just need traction. Maybe these hypersonics will be different.

Well if we don't play football, wouldn't that make buying football cleats for lax obssessed? If we don't play soccer, wouldn't that make buying soccer cleats for lax obsessed? Exactly.

I'm just looking for good cleats in my price range. The Superspeed D's are out of my price range and the Nike Shoguns and the Brine Hypersonics are just the 2 cleats I'm considering. I don't care if they're football or lax cleats I just want them to be good.

If you want a good cleat for price get the latest Nike lanshark mid's. They are great cleats. They have a good price and are very confy. The water proof is good. I mostly like the cleats set up on the mloded cleats on the bottom they are great for quick feet. You can find these cleats at any sporting good store i.e. Dicks Sporting goods and stuff for around $60
