OK my dad has a collection of rolling stones cds i have saved onto itunes he has lost these cds so i wish to burn these cds with itunes...no problem right? wrong... he wants me to burn every song onto one cd thats 54 songs he wants me to burn...he said that if i saved them in mp3 format i could do it well i tried but itunes dosnt burn cds in mp3 format even if u switch it in preferences...so he said i should export the songs to windows media player however he clicked cancel when windows media player wanted to import the itunes songs...my question to you is how do i get itunes to export songs to windows media player in a different format than XML... please help

Do you have Nero or another burning software tool available?

Just export them there, it shoulnt affect your library.

yes i have nero but i tried using it before and im not sure if i can get it to burn in mp3 format like he wants

ok i just tried burning the cd with nero but it says it dosnt support the format

ok finally it also said that nero has a known issue with this version of windows or watever and i should go contact ahead software but i have no clue wat that means

if i can save itunes as a different format than XML then ill be able to use windows media player which can burn cds in MP3 format write so how do i save itunes into windows media player as another format

You right click on the song in itunes and click convert to mp3 format. Then search for the songs in windows media. I jsut had to do that to burn it to a cd so it would play in a cd player.

ok i right clicked on it an hit acc i converted all 54 songs ont he playlist then i went into windows media player and tried to add it to the library but i couldnt find the converted songs were r they?

iTunes should be able to burn them in MP3 now that you've converted them.

It should be set so all your songs import in MP3 as a default, anyways.

You have to do each song at one time. Make sure it says converting. It should take about 20 sec for each song.

ok i no this has been going ont for awhile but still ive clicked convert to AAC but all that does is make another copie in my library so how do i convert it to MP3 format?????????

It might already be in mp3. I think.

ThaT means it is in mp3 format. Search for the songs in Windows media player
