I'm a huge fan I had or have Civ 3 on my Mac but haven't played it in a long time because my computer is getting worse and I don't have the HD space or Ram to be playing games really. When I get my new comp I might reinstall it and start playingg more but it is a seriously fun game if your into things like that, I used to take an Ancient History class and instead of going home and studying I would just play Civ 3 non stop.

I have it but I haven't played it a long time. I never really feel the need to play games on my computer anymore.

I used to play civ3, but it took too long to do anything. it took at least an hour to get to ad, and before that it was lame.

Man thats all i did over winter break. Once you start playing you just can't stop. I saw that they are coming out with civ 4 though.

Yeah - I saw Civ IV at Best Buy the other day - but I didn't have the money. I am a big fan of Civ III though, the game could keep me captivated for quite awhile when I played it a lot. Unfortunately, at the time I don't have a ton of time to sit in front of a screen and play RTS like I did on some days during the summer.

ohhh i got Civ IV. I had civ III too but i lost the disc..
I was able to play civ iii but Civ IV you need more memory space or whatever. it always lagged and was slow.
if you get it make sure you have at least the recommended # for w.e its called, at least 512mb. i have like 256mb sumthig like that so it was bad for me

I beleive the word your looking for is either RAM or MEMORY...
Memory space, no... hard drive space... yes.
I had 1, 2, Call to Power and 3. I really enjoy them, but I found that I was wasting WAY too much time. It is very addicting to me.

i had civ III and got civ IV for xmas. I love it. All the improvements make it a much better game. And civ IV got rid of the bad things like pollution and riots in your cities.

Did they? Those do suck in CivIII. Do they throw different problems or what?

Well for some countries you can choose what leader you want. And each leader has different charecteristics, different traits. Kinda hard to explain.
You can also play different scenarios. i donno if you could in ther other civs, but i played a little bit with the Revolutionary War scenario and it was pretty cool.
you can probably find out more about changes if you search on google, civ3.com or something
