You're entitled to your opinion, but when you say "who cares?" you imply that no one does. Far from the truth.

Interesting that IL picked Duke #1 but the media stayed with Northwestern.

Preseason polls are for entertainment and speculation. The IL poll reflects my rankings more closely than the others. Boston University and Johns Hopkins are overrated by many. BU nees to replace their goalie. Hopkins needs to replace LaceyLeigh Hentz.

Arizona just proved my point - these points are really useless - they solely are for entertainment and speculation. I am not saying that no one cares nor that not one person will worry about where the 'media' puts a team, but at the end of the day, my point is still vaild - until some games are played and people see the teams perform, the polls will be worthless and only based on the judges' opinion and not actual results.

yeah i agree with laxgirl...it's kind of fun to see how these different sources rate the teams...they do hav pretty solid facts to back up their opinions...imo i thnk northwestern can pull through for another year in a row...but i do think duke has a shot at it.
