I currently play in the NLL and I am looking into playing outside of Canada. Any help into finding a team would be great. I'm 6'5" and 230 lbs. I have been playing lacrosse for 16 years.

I'm surprised he revealed himself. If I was pro, I wouldn't want a bunch of stupid kids talking to me about stuff like.

I don't know anything about the leagues out east. Would any teams pay there players or at least pay for there flight and living expenses?

Come to Prague - not paid but lot of fun. I guess it is the only place where boxlacrosse is played outside of North America.

unfortunately many of the opportunities you'll find are going to be unpaid. In the states, we don't have organizations like in Canada, where clubs sign players who are then compensated for travel, etc... we do have many tournament organizations and club teams that travel extensively, but are also unpaid. I play in London in the summer in the London tourney, and I generally travel all over the country (US) playing in tournaments with various other teams.. I am also participating in the open tournament at this year's world championships, among other tourneys.. I'm afraid the only pay is in doing camps and clinics. most will pay for your room and board, give u some cash, and if necessary, will fly u to their camps..

Umm I think you can't, he never said anything about wanting to play Box, he said he wanted to play out of the country.

Ryan, lacrosse in Australia is an amateur sport and as such, the only people getting paid are junior development officers(not much) and senior referee's. Most teams will usually find you free or cheap accomodation. If you are under 30 you can get a 1 year working visa so finding legal work shouldn't be a problem.

I'm actually doing the opposite. I'm planning on being in Vancouver for 6 months and playing either Senior A or B during that time.

Not that I know him (or even of him), but you should get in touch with Steve Smyth and find out what he thought of his whole trip

Hi, I play in the UK and we have a lot of coaches who are paid (I doubt that much although it is possible to earn extra money through coaching in schools) to run programmes and play for clubs, generally funded by the larger clubs. My club in South London has had a few in the past years, however not recently. Most of the coaches are based around the north of England at the moment.

I'm not sure of the process, but you might want to get in touch with the English Lacrosse Association to enquire further.

You will get a email soon from my buddy who works for The English Lacrosse Association.
