I changed the title, since the thread is neither garbage, nor should it be referred to as such.

I like the instructional issues, but I also love reading the posts they publish. I only wish I would get published.

I like the whole thing. I eat up every word. However, I usually turn to the "Inside: MLL" or the Editorials first.

grow up buds and stop deleting my posts

learn to take criticism becasue this is indeed a major stroke session for IL guys and is pointless

Not deleting your opinion, just deleting your inappropriate responses. Maybe this isn't your type of messaging board.

it's the only way to live

but come on guys, what's the point of a forum if everyone is just stroking one another all the time

It's my understanding that the brass of IL want a forum for people to sound off about articles, news, and other materials posted in Inside Lacrosse the magazine. It is a bit of an ego boost, but overall, you'll see a lot of magazine forums (or at least the ones I've seen) include some sort of "sound off about the publication" forum within their message board database.

Its just a connection to what the publishers of IL really want to see.

peter lasagna's take my whistle please articles at the end of the magazine...
Personally I find that is always the most interesting and honest piece in it...

just a little critique...dont flame me or anything...and to the powers that be...dont take any undue wrath out on me...you want an open opinion...here is the one and only bad point i see...
it is way too ice cream and candy...
meaning everyone is good everything is grand...there is rarely to never a negative comment or hard question asked...i think IL needs to have a bit of an edge...or at least a writer who writes on the edge that way you can distance yourselves by claiming its just his opinion not the whole magazines if there is any backlash...

I like the TLF quotes section because I always want to be there! Also anything about Mens college lacrosse. Oh and I liked the Colbert Report in IL I thought that was pretty funny

I whole heartedly agree. The world of professional lacrosse is far from "ice cream and candy". In fact, I'm willing to wager there have been more than enough stories from all levels of lacrosse that could add the edge that Steggy pointed out. I've always said, say something good, people will clap, say something controversial, and people will talk. Sorry to say, controversy spawns attention. And in the media biz, attention begets sales.

I agree with Stegs and Hooligan. There is so much out there in the lacrosse world, that doesn’t make it to the pages of IL. And then those very interesting stories get reduced to articles on websites, or simply rumors spread on forums like these. If there are controversial issues about lacrosse I think the lax world should here about it, and IL is the biggest and best way to spread lax news.

I understand that you guys don't want to step on toes, but you could at least do completely unbiased reports on some of the negative thing (as apposed to editorials with staff members opinions), instead of ignoring them.

I don't know, but somewhere in the issue with JGJ on the cover, it says that we were all freaking out and didn't like the idea of them buying us. They said it was like Wal-Mart takign over, or something? Anyway, it says that we all calmed down and realized that it was good that we have a million users.

Am I the only one that isn't calmed down and hasn't realized that it was good?
