Which one is better Apex or Impulse?

Also, I was just wondering if anyone knows where to get the new Debeer "Island" Apex or Impulse sticks (new colours), in Toronto.

it depends on what position you play and what type of player you are. if you are more of a defensive player, i would suggest the apex. if you are a middie or low attacker, i would probably suggest the impulse. personally, i absolutely love the impulse...you should try out both though if you haven't. also you can order island colors in either at sportsherway.com

I would go with sportsherway.com for either stick. I prefer the Impulse over the Apex. The Impulse is lighter and has a different shaped scoop than the Apex that makes groundballs easier

yea, i agree with laxordie24, even the slightest difference in weight can make a large difference. i have the impulse, and would never change to another, heavier stick.

I used to have an Apex and I loved it. It was my first stick, but an excellent one to work with. I've never used an Impulse before, but I've heard nothing but good about them. I'd suggest trying out both, and making your decision from there.

i have used both the apex and impulse, and if you are an attack player, the impulse is much better.
however i really think you should consider this whole "island color" thing.

yeah i tried out my friends. i imediantly liked the impulse better. its alot lighter and ground balls are a piece of cake with it.

Well today I tried out the Impulse and Apex. I found the apex easier to cradle with, it seemed tighter, and impulse seemed like the ball was moving around to much. I don't know..anyways I think the island colours are cute. :)

The apex is heavy and gross in my opinion the scoop sucks. The impulse is lighter, allows for a deeper pocket and it has an awesome scoop.

amaro--- the impulse is way lighter. I tried to look up the exact weights to prove it but i can't find them

are you saying the impulse head is lighter than the apex? or the stick all together?

amaro- are you getting just the head or the whole stick. the head is lighter than the apex head. im not sure about the whole stick. but i would recomend just getting the head and buying a harrow shaft.i have it and its so light.
